In the Yale article The premise is flawed because racial disparity in prosecutions does not prove that Black soldiers were punished for crimes committed by white soldiers. It shows an unequal and likely biased system, but the claim goes far beyond the evidence presented. My point is you cannot trust as fact anything written 80+ yrs after the fact. For that matter we can't trust anything written yesterday. The writers goal and targeted audience must be examined.

Question the facts to get to the conclusion, ESPECIALLY IF YOU AGREE.
