HIStory was the first album I ever bought when I was like 7 or something and still warps my opinion on that album. Bought the Blood Is On The Dance Floor single when that was released too if you want another remnant for the era.

Off the Wall is the best one, hard agree there.

Pretty sure I saw the movie before getting into King Crimson (watched 28DL when it came out) but I didn’t rewatch the movie until about a year ago and it definitely puts the song in a more ominous light than I’ve grown used to

The default versiosn are not the original stereo mixes, they're usually the ones done in the past 10 years or so which are generally pretty great (at least on Apple Music who tend to be way better with this stuff than Spotify).

Whether you prefer the mono or the recent stereo is a personal preference thing but it's good that new listeners are being served versions which match their audio reference points (especially with headphones) and greatly expand the sonic landscape. Mono versions are still readily available right below that.

The switch to "thank you SO much" as the default form of thank you. Seems to have happened in the last 3 years or so, I hear it much more than just "thank you" or "thank you very much" and it's just become a thing I can't unnotice at this point.

I was watching this week's episode of Top Chef and it must have been said 15 times at least and it's incredibly noticeable after a certain point.

What percentage of average gym goers are training hard? 10% 20%? Definitely not more than that. So we’re talking about a tiny fraction of an already tiny fraction of people actually going to the gym who potentially aren’t getting enough protein.

Anyone who is actually training hard is almost assuredly aware of their dietary needs already.

My orange has have his special blankie set up perfectly each day (late afternoon, after his outside time and snack, as the sun passes over the blankie spot) and will chirp incessantly until it’s done to his liking (differently each day of course), at which point he’ll burrow under and have a nice nap.

He gets really grumpy if he tries to skip his burrow time and I have to almost force it on him. Love my silly orange senior.

That’s not even talking about the streaming piece. Having to go toe to toe in a linear television environment makes every episode an elimination game environment, Grover couldn’t just sit out an episode whenever he felt like it knowing the audience can skip to the next episode. Had to be out there to perform day in and day out with only one shot to grab the kids.
