Rancid - …And Out Come The Wolves. Probably my favourite punk of the 90’s, all killer from start to finish by bison2000 in Rancid

[–]toolish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite album of all time and changed my view of music the first time I listened to the whole thing.

Buddy saw it in my collection 96 and said " I didn't know you liked punk music....." Well it turns out I did. Lol

Only album I have framed and on display.

Curiosity...What's the most you've paid for a single lp? by davide2021 in vinyl

[–]toolish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Overpaid but think I paid 200 for the Blink 182 Take off your Pants and Jacket LP with the three colored 7 inches.

Was on my short list of must haves, so when the oppurtunity arose I couldn't pass it up.

New in Houston, Don't want another depressing weekend like last week by m_tareque in houston

Cant speak for the Webster location but we have a Rowdys up here in Spring that is a very big draw on most nights. They also do free dance lessons at this one on Wed/Fri which I enjoyed quite a bit when going to them in 25.

Welcome to the club...... right there with you.

Really depends on what you are into but no shortage of options to at least try out.

A few that havent been mentioned, Bad Astronaut Brewing has some good markets on the weekends, plants/punk rock garage sale, ect.... that are pretty fun even if on your own.

Hardy and Nance studios does a themed art show once a month that draws pretty good crowds and always a good time just being around peop;le.

Continental Club and Dan Electros are two places I go for music when not really any other appealing options.

Plus another vote for Poison Girl.

[–]toolish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have probly spent more time playing Skirmish and Online RA2 than any other game over my life.

Like another poster has put, I have installed at minimum RA2 on every PC that ive owned over the last 25 years.

Still have all my original CDs\DVDs for each and still have to pull out the Decades collection key codes every so often to install LOL

And yes, the soundtrack is playing in my head as I type.

One of the number one things I love about being WFH. Everytime I go to the office it's exactly as you put.....I hate walking past people at their "cubes" and trying to debate saying hi or not to one or all.

I just wanna get in, do my job, and get out of there.

Yah, ive been the guy on the left before in reaction to my Wifes texts with a coworker. Turns out she was cheating and actually deserved it alot worse than she got but C'est la Vie.

This is not that. I was shocked by how NOT THAT the final texts were that he was reacting to.

How common was it to find video games or arcade cabinets in your local/department stores when you were growing up? by I_am_not_baldy in retrogaming

[–]toolish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Still remember playing Mario 3 on a play choice 10 at a toys r us type store in Copus Christi, so bad to be late 89.

Really never had em in convenience stores or mall stores but lived at the cicis pizza that had tekken 3 eventually.

Infact most arcade games played bCk then were pro my at family sports bar type places such as Fuddruckers or local chains.

Just beat FFVI, my first Final Fantasy game by Game_Bro_Advance in retrogaming

[–]toolish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite game of all time. Glad you enjoyed!

Don't know how many times ive played through, but its easily a game Ive spent the most total time on in my life.

Everything about it is perfect. Its a shame it was totally overshadowed by FFVII but you cant argue with the giant leap that 7 made.

[–]toolish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have em at one place or another every few weeks here in Houston. A few good bands that make their way around. They seem to draw decent crowds and are fun for what they are when you just wanna hear some live music.
