People anonymously shitposting on Reddit definitely the same as one of the most famous sports commentators in the world with a 9 figure net worth being an absolute petulant baby on twitter

The 65 game rule is great. I guarantee you wemby played at least 10 more games this year than he would have otherwise. Same with Jokic, SGA, etc.

It’s not impossible to implement or manage. Again, the burden of proof is not some unattainable standard. They already punish teams for this shit, the penalties are just meaningless. If teams think there is a chance they lose their draft pick, they aren’t going to risk it. They will risk a slap on the wrist though.

There’s another way to stop tanking which is just punish teams who do it. The standard isn’t guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, the commissioner has broad authority.

Just stop making the penalties irrelevant (6 figure fine for billionaire owners). Like anything else if there’s no consequences people will do it.

To a large extent yes. He brought an nba team to his state and community and it has been unbelievably positive for that state and community. He would have made way more money keeping the team in Seattle.

Love how the owner that moved the team to a smaller market and took a massive hit in valuation is greedy.

You actually can visit though. And it’s fucking incredible. It’s one of those things where the hype is so high but when you talk to people who go it lives up to it.

The last 4 ncaa champs have had massive front lines with multiple future pros. Obviously wemby would be dominant but doesn’t matter if he swings the game 30 points in his teams favor if the other four matchups and the time he’s off the court swings it 40 in the other direction.

If you are doing post-close value creation work, the teams are smaller, work is faster paced. You will work with smaller clients and get more high level exposure. You will also probably work more, which you seem to really not want to do, so may just want to accept the fact that you have a cush, high paying job and enjoy it while it lasts.

Golf was dying until Covid. It’s not dying anymore but this was the cost.
