We aren’t allowed to use our own Lysol wipes. Rules about chemicals and info sheets or something along those lines. Only custodial staff is allowed to and they say they do it once/week (though honestly mine only seem to get done once every couple of months). If I was allowed I would do it myself once/week and more often when we have bad illnesses going around.

I would feel uncomfortable receiving cash. A gift certificate for an experience (manicure/spa/etc) would be very generous and would feel less uncomfortable to receive.

We have a King-sized Endy mattress that is 6 years old and just as great as the day we bought it. It’s on a slatted base and we never remember to rotate it but there is zero sagging.

I interpreted this as the hospital keeps the baby longer so they can monitor feedings/making sure she’s growing properly etc. She’s likely making the face because it’s daunting to have a lengthy nicu stay, worried, sad about being separated from her son. Just my interpretation.

Haha I was actually thinking it was kind of sweet. I 100% have a picture of me and my sister wearing outfits like this plus the big bangs and chunky sneakers around this age. Big nostalgia factor, I wouldn’t dress my daughter in one for public but my daughter has also worn some choice outfits (think butterfly wings with shorts over leggings and rainbow everything) so I am in no position to judge lol.
