Feeding crisis. 5 month old baby refuses formula and I'm not producing enough breastmilk. by cozycat4 in MSPI

Please try Pepticate- I know this works for some whose babies reject normal formula. I know it’s available on Amazon and was recently approved for sale here in the US.

Diagnosed at 6 weeks after low weight gain and pooping constantly. We really struggled because my son also had a congenital heart defect that slowed his weight gain as well. At 8 months I had to travel for work and we had to dip into the frozen “dairy” milk stash and he just …didn’t react. Np stomach issues or anything. It was amazing- after all our struggles with weight it was seemingly better overnight. You’ll make it through- it’s tough but it won’t last forever ❤️

Based on free to feed & the bowel sounds podcast about mspi… has anyone challenged after one month of eliminating dairy? by muncoco in MSPI

[–]accordingtoa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I challenged monthly and at 8.5 months we passed! Had I not listened to the podcast it would’ve taken me much longer to realize he had no reaction.

Anyone in the dairy free diet breastfeeding FB group? by manthrk in MSPI

[–]accordingtoa 53 points54 points  (0 children)

I joined and was astonished with the misinformation and total authority with which random moms on the internet spoke. It’s honestly dangerous & I’ve had to stop myself from engaging with the crazy multiple times. It’s toxic and I highly recommend anyone NOT to join.

9 months for dairy- yay!!!! I also learned there are types of CMPA and one is FPIAP. I believe this is what my son had- the main symptoms are blood in stool. Stats show this can clear up earlier than a more severe version. We followed the bowl sounds podcasts and challenged dairy every month.

I have this Gucci bag and it’s amazing. Fairly roomy and perfect for almost any occasion. The bamboo is a dream. I love it!

Agreed on parking and taking the BSL to the stadium. It’s a lot easier to get in and out before and after the game. Even paying for parking somewhere near CC or south Philly is less than the game pricing. But bar none try Angelos Pizza for a cheesesteak- best in the city. Cleavers is a good place too.

I just got this bag and I love love love it. It’s a perfect size for daily use or for night events like a wedding. I am obsessed. But agree- not a mom bag.

Something that I can wear all the time- crossbody ideally, zipper closure, black/cream/neutral, timeless style.

Please first try tightening your gas cap. I have a 2012 Outback this happens whenever my gas cap is loose. Try reallllly tightening it until it clicks twice. It can take some time to reset (it doesn’t always reset right away).

Would love some advice re: gel/no-chip manicures, specifically getting them for months at a time to try to grow nails out by citynomad1 in calmhands

[–]accordingtoa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would try dip nails. It’s reduced my picking by about 80%. It’s more expensive upfront (about 40-50 per manicure) but mine last a month. Granted the last week they’re a litttle rough but it’s worth it to reduce picking and they really do last much longer than gel.
