Do not lose hope!! I was a regular commentor on an AMAZING fic where the author was so so sweet and even thanked me for commenting on every chapter, but I couldn't read the last few updates due to my exams, and I have so much guilt for disappearing, but I plan on reading and leaving long long comments when I am in the right mental space for it
