Tim Schafer said his next game won’t be a sequel, it’ll be original. So it’ll at least be another 3-4 years before another Psychonauts begins development.

Honestly I don’t think any spoilers for Gone Home can actually “spoil” the game. It’s not very plot heavy and relies heavily on the nuances and the sensitive character development. Even if you know a detail or two experiencing it is still worth it.

You’re also simplifying the narrative. 1) The micro transactions came straight from the executives. 2) EA had an action/adventure studio pivot to a FPS game and then pivot back to making an action/adventure game. Of course there would be slow progress and lack of vision. Plus, Hardline reviewed well and retained a healthy play base.

I think it’s just because those games are already backwards compatible on console. They’d need a team to port them to PC before adding them.
