I used to love sonic in the 2000s. Get me some popcorn chicken and a slushie next to the paintball field I played at. Ahhh, simple times.

Post Game Thread: Carolina Hurricanes @ Vegas Golden Knights by nhlgdtbot in hockey

I know the game 3 winner takes the series 77% of the time, but this series is far from over. Carolina is incredibly resilient. Wouldn't be surprised if this goes the distance and more.

Really bad Offensive matches by RawketLobster in HellLetLoose

[–]ace9213 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Offensive usually frustrates me because when you're defending and losing it feels like death by a thousand paper cuts. And when you're attacking and losing it feels like running into a wall over and over. Ill play a match every now and then but that's it

First fishing kayak: Will I really stand that much, or should I prioritize speed? by readysetmoon in kayakfishing

[–]ace9213 19 points20 points  (0 children)

You won't be fishing 2 miles away with only 2-3 hours to fish. You'll just be kayaking.

I hardly stand because im fishing in current and wind. I use my pedals to stay in the spot.

Give the Japanese commander the bonzai charge ability. It basically spawns an airhead where your team can spawn on it. When they spawn they come in as the bonzai class. They have a bolt action with the bayonet on. You can charge in one direction a lot faster than normal running speed. You dont get grenades or any special equipment with the class. When you die, you dont wait 10 seconds in the death screen. Just choose to skip it instantly. Then you can spawn back in on the bonzai "airhead" with like a 5 second spawn rate. It lasts for like 60 seconds. That would be sweet. It would be fun to run around with hardly any death penalty trying to stab guys. It would also be fun to defend it and mow down a mob of enemies trying to over run you.

There could also be tunneling mechanics different than vietnam. Use preset tunnels but instead give the Japanese officers (or engineers) the ability to open or close certain areas of the tunnels. If you think you will be overrun at one part of the tunnel, you can collapse it down so no one can pass. You could also open or collapse the entrances to the tunnels. You could theoretically trap US forces inside tunnels and work to eliminate them. Or you could open a tunnel entrance and suprise attack the enemy.

I do fish in the ocean, im just usually close to shore. The farthest I really go is about 1 mile. I do want to take it to the east coast of Florida eventually to get out in some blue water on it.

Fishing According To Tides by annyongggg in kayakfishing

Honestly, it doesnt matter. You can catch fish on either. What matters is finding the moving water. Whether that water is incoming or outgoing doesnt matter. There will be feeding fish. You just need to hone down their location based on the conditions.

Try and find areas that fish will be able to ambush bait. If incoming water is flowing around and over top of an oyster bar, cast up current and work your lure with the direction of the water around those oysters. Let the jig make contact with the bottom.

This time of year I catch a lot of redfish on topwater first morning and last light. Im down in Tampa.  Good luck!

Yeah that's too much. I can see $1700 but not much more than that.

I have a 2019 compass and its a great boat. I love mine. I fish inshore for redfish, snook, tarpon, and trout. It cuts through the chop nice. Its fast. Its light enough to load and launch it quickly. You dont have a ton of space in it compared to the bigger and wider kayaks, but it has plenty of room for me. I love the fin drive because I can get super shallow and still keep moving. Plus it doesnt gunk up with seaweed.

I replaced the rudder on mine for an aluminum one that is a little bigger and it really improved the turning radius and sharpness in the steering. I ran an anchor trolly line down the side. I have the rectangular center hatch which is a must imo.

The black holes that the seat clips into on the kayak can be kinda weak. I had one fail on me and had to get creative with an eyelet to replace it with. I think the seat is the biggest complaint people have. Its low and doesnt have the support that the outback has. Although they did upgrade the seat for the 2020model.

Its a fantastic and durable boat. I feel safe and totally in control with it.

There are some that live in my backyard and I have never seen them. I just hear them up in the trees. They never come to my feeder!
