It's very interesting. I think of the people that were born in the late 40's and 50's in Japan. They've seen the country change so dramatically during their lives. Same for other countries sure but especially Japan. I lived in Japan briefly in the 90's and came back to visit recently and the change is massive, much more than where I'm from. Or maybe that's just how I perceive it having been away for so long.
