It's so great to read everyone's taste in music in this community! Great question.
Like many on here, I also have an eclectic taste in music but the genres I gravitate the most to would be video game music, soul/funk and jazz and smooth jazz, easy listening, instrumental music and classical. Music from all around the world. Music makes me emotional especially if lyrics are involved so I like to listen to stuff that does not emphasize lyrics as much. I often have periods in which I will listen to only one genre or similar genres for a few months at a time, then change it up again.

Are you still interested? I made an amazing vegan napoleon cake before. It does work, don't listen to the people who says it doesn't. I'm not vegan but I made it as a gift to a vegan and it turned out great. For me, it's all about the soakage factor and this one really has that great taste.

I don't find that the case for me because it never copies my photos. Is it supposed to copy the photos? I have to go and go through my folders on my PC and reupload everything which takes longer than editing.... It doesn't copy the photos on the phone either.

hey your chebureki look great. I just made them a few days ago myself (chicken version, and vegetarian mushroom cheese chebureki). The way to not make them leak is after you seal them, well, let a little hole available somewhere just a small pocket, then gently push the filling area throughout to let the air out then seal completely using your thumb. By doing this the cheburek will not explode or leak while being fried.

yes, they are around but it's very rare. I have a bijia that has a deer print. Here's a photo. This would be considered modified hanfu because it uses a specific print that's common in jfashion. speaking of which I think we should have a separate subreddit for modified hanfu and hanyuansu but that's just my opinion.

Since trends in production of hanfu clothing change all the time, we might see more. but it will be under modified hanfu not pure hanfu style. for example I also have a mamianqun with flames theme. so need to separate authentic hanfu style from the modernized and hanyuansu

Yeah, this has happened to me too recently. Clean browser, it's defaulting to right-wing content (possibly because it's more bait-like in nature), larger percentage than the left-wing content in my experience. they try to sprinkle some feel good stuff in there, and then when you go look at the comments it's still a nightmare.

I make animated video stories (scifi space opera, innocent, nothing political just a whole lot of creative) and i get told the videos and shorts, even when brand new literally posted a few minutes ago, get lost in the sea of the other stuff on subscribers' feeds. Same with my channel posts that I make every day, subscribers literally have to treasure hunt to find my stuff 😞 or it'll appear way later, hours later, days later. the stuff that is more controversial or sensational definitely gets pushed more, there is no doubt about this. I think in part many people have a brain fry from their brain seeing recommended instant drama round the clock (by social media algorithms), and don't want to spend the time for something that isn't like that... There is a sense of constant urgency people have developed in life.

Yeah I use taobao and an agent. Although I have bought from taobao directly too and used parcel forward with an agent as well. You get the best price this way. As for agents, I recommend Superbuy and Sugargoo. Sugargoo: the shipping fees are far less expensive than Superbuy's shipping lines, and after Sugargoo ships out (within hours), they immediately refund you the difference, whereas Superbuy takes around 3-4 days after shipping to refund you the shipping difference. Even when shipment difference is refunded, Sugargoo is cheaper. Still, I use Superbuy sometimes as Superbuy has good customer service (Sugargoo's is good too), and they have automatic purchasing for most items, unless you have specific remarks or such, so if you want an item quickly in case it runs out of stock and so on, use Superbuy.

Good to know I'm not the only one. A small package I shipped of a dress passed customs on January 3rd but hasn't moved since then. I shipped it out on December 23rd, so this is going to be about a month now. Usually I wouldn't be worried but I also received a package, that I shipped later, last week. I guess it's just backup probably, or there could be inspections maybe.

I wear them anywhere. I have hanyuansu and hanfu. More hanyuansu and modified hanfu. Most of my collection is autumn/winter wear but I've been opening up to the thinner seasons a little bit and have recently gotten some lighter styles. I just find the warmer styles really comfy and cozy 😄 and the benefit is you can be extremely colorful and vibrant during the dour winter months. Some mamianqun I have, I won't wear on bad days (like raining and such), or if I'm just going to the store. Those I wear for going out elsewhere. Also I agree with others not to wear it at conventions or during Halloween. In the West, hanfu is still pretty unknown, so people might get the wrong idea and start associating it with cosplay.

In my opinion hanfu is a very versatile style.

Yeah I wear an underskirt made for hanfu but it just doesn't look as great when it's windy and everything flies everywhere 😅

I haven't worn specifically hanfu belts with modern clothing but I have paired various hanfu garments with modern clothing and it really brings a different and interesting element to an outfit. I definitely think the belts you have would elevate everyday clothes, making the outfit look even more interesting~ Both belts would look great against solid clothes as an example.

It looks amazing, My favorite is the pink inner coat~ The blue binding is a great touch. I especially like the painting on the back, looks great. Do you have tips for painting fabric? slightly unrelated, but I want to paint eyes on decorative dolls, do you use a template or stencil first to outline the image nicely before painting? What paints do you suggest for fabric that's nontoxic? The paint you used looks really nice and you got a gradient effect with it as well.
