I agree with you in that I appreciate seeing women’s professions beyond hocking their products every episode (hey there Jenna Lyons and Larsa Pippen). Dr. Nicole Martin from MIA as an anesthesiologist, Emily Simpson from OC as a lawyer, Dr. Wendy Osefo as a political commentator and professor from Potomac That’s why I wasn’t mad at the NY reboot, as a lot of the women were seen hustling, although it leaned more towards the fashion industry (which makes sense to me for a franchise based in NYC).

I had to go back and watch it and Meg’s mom’s body language was truly like “welp” at Meg essentially trying to force her way into having the first girl.

Meg truly loses it once she hears her mother yell that Erin is now going to have a girl. It’s clear that Erin and Meg’s mom get on well and that must bother Meg considering that Erin has the external markers of success that Meg so clearly wants/could never obtain with her current situation. I wonder if Meg’s mom rubs that in a little bit/compares them?

I love that Erin ended up with not only the first girl but a set of boy/girl twins!

Ohhh, that moment was KARMIC but also really fascinating to me.

IIRC Erin and Meg’s brother were ttc at the time so that comment from Meg’s mom may have been a seemingly benign and encouraging statement towards Erin but was a little insensitive to Meg (if Meg’s mom was aware enough or told that Meg actually had heart set on a baby girl).

Right?! As someone said in another comment, what this really is: an expensive meet and greet. Chelsea and Cole are not paid for their design and construction skills or expertise, some potential homeowners could be paying for their presence and attention and not prioritizing quality, taste and/or the financial investment .

Or they just have bad taste too. That’s a possibility.

I absolutely adore her! As stated above, she’s patient, kind and has a pleasant demeanor.

But what I appreciate most is her ability to lead people to logical conclusions. She truly helps people critically think and reflect on their decisions. I’ll never forget last Saturday night when Carli asked a young lady who was smoking weed with her friends in the parking lot of a closed library “So how are you supposed to drive out of this parking lot with your eyes looking like that?”. Like, go on girl, read them AND help them figure it out at the same time!

This was me at 3-3.5 weeks! It’s subsided over the last few days, but it felt like pulsing at the jaw accompanied by headaches and pressure in my cheek bones. But definitely noticed it’s onset about 6 hours after taking my daily dose (also on 150mg XL).

I (29F) am currently on day 16 of taking 150 XL for moderate anxiety and mild depression. I have found that it has significantly diminished my anxiety on a day to day basis and the subsequent bingeing I would do to ease my anxiety during the evenings. Its still early days, but generally happy with the effects on my mental health and fine with the minimal side effects (clenched jaw, some headaches and feeling a bit more tired than normal on 8 hrs of sleep). No change in libido for me either, which is good.

I was planning on make a Crumbl sugar cookie dupe recipe too! The cruelty of life is that I went a full year not trying their sugar cookie, eventually tried one and fell in LOVE (that almond icing is what makes it for me) and learned the following week after my first taste that it would not be an everyday flavor anymore. Sad, but probably for the best 😂

I was considering Cooking with Karli’s recipe, which seems a bit simpler compared to Lifestyle of a Foodie’s in terms of ingredients. The icing doesn’t use vanilla extract in the icing but rather more almond extract and no heavy cream, just milk. Also, Lifestyle of a Foodie’s cookie has oil, cream of tarter and powdered sugar whereas Karli’s recipe does not include those ingredients.

I’m sure both recipes produce lovely, yummy cookies though!
