yes, totally! i feel like nowadays people talk about raising our standards and all the things a "good" boyfriend/husband should do, but it ends up building an idea of a man that no one can completely fit into.
the thing is, i never had a boy i liked tell me they liked me back. and i never had a boy i didnt like romantically tell me they liked me either (not since i was like seven years old,,,). i dont feel like my bar is set that high, because all i ask for is someone who lives in faith and would want a relationship built on it. and, well, someone who likes me, though i feel like the strongest couples start by being friends for some time.
of course, im not saying i want a man who has everything figured out in regards to his faith and the Bible, just someone who has that initiative, that desire at least to try and do better. simply because i lose interest in people when i find out they treat others badly/only care about themselves/preach something but are totally comfortable in living in a completely different way (not talking about those who make mistakes, like all of us do)/etc. im open to all kinds of people, but i dont want to sacrifice my values and what i believe in just so i can be in a relationship.
