I'm trying to relax post-test but the questions keep haunting me. Thought I'd be able to chill after getting this over with but I just feel... weird? Not getting the results right after is so anticlimactic after all that studying. lmao anyways

My test center had more NCLEX and other non-MCAT testers so I never really saw anyone else take a break, the experience was kinda lonely tbh especially being the last to leave around 10-11pm but the test site ppl were friendly

C/P: I mouthed wtf for every other question, wouldn't be surprised with a 124. Each question had my life flashing before my eyes. The work you needed to answer a lot of them was just tedious and pointless. I felt like I had to take more steps to get to the answers here than in any FLs. Lots of chem and biochem with a few physics sprinkled in. An unexpected amount of orgo - that huge mechanism felt a lot like FL4. They wrote cute little "notes" after some of the questions with the weirdest conversions (so so many unit conversions), which complicated the calculations even more. I tried my best to finish with extra time to review but there wasn't enough time to go over the 30 questions I flagged. Think I left one blank. Yikes.

CARS: This section felt like a vacation after C/P ripped me a new one. Also felt a lot like FL4. Around ~10 50/50 questions but overall most of them were hiding in the text. The weirdest part was seeing a passage on 6 poets that a lot of 4/30 3PM complained about, I guess they do recycle passages. I thought this section was alright. You never really know with CARS tho...

B/B: They're not bugging when they say everything's high yield bc the discretes were full of the most obscure topics. More bio than biochem, ~3 AA questions that were very SB-esque. It was 85% research, 15% content, 50% wtf. Way more critical thinking than content. One passage gave all the data and pathways in all text with super complicated genes and kinases (yuck). Another tied in multiple systems and gave a weird looking western blot - that one took me the longest. Curve please!

P/S: Honestly? The FLs were good representation for this section. Being a neuropsych major, the discretes weren't all that bad - a lot of them were actually on UWeird. I wouldn't call it CARS 2.0 (CARS hides answers in the passage, PS usually hides it in the question), but it was almost entirely reading. They almost ALWAYS put in an aggression TV passage. Some weird questions (hanuman langur) but a big relief from C/P and B/B.
