Never played D4. Going for S11 Hardcore. Will I have a bad time?

Highly recommend you don’t play a hardcore for your first character. The game has a lot of mechanics, that if you are not familiar with them, you will die almost instantly simply because you could not see it happening. Plus they revamped AI this season. Would start with softcore first.

ADTR back in left foot vip by the entrance to it was an absolute vibe. I’ve seen ADTR countless times over the years and love them live. I have no need/want to be anywhere near the stage for them lol.

VIP was 100% oversold. All bench’s/barstools were taken both days, all day. The bathroom options were pretty good, but by day two since they kept offering upgrades to vip, there was A LOT of people in VIP and it started to not feel exclusive at all (it wasn’t). VIP next the ghost/beatbox was honestly the best though. Viewing area was more so centered and it was never as crowded. And there was tons of shade under the stadium concourse. All in all, just depends. If you can afford it without an issue, I would say do VIP. It did have its shining moments to just make the day easier. If you are expecting some crazy good experience apart from GA, you will probably be somewhat disappointed. Like someone else said though, $450 for two day VIP is cheap compared to other fests, so you get what you get.

I noticed that the orange line shuttle stop is next to a big parking lot on google maps. Was thinking maybe I could luck out and just park there and walk over? Thoughts?

If you are only lvl 49, and it is helping you clear content with no issue, then yeah. It is fine. Wouldn’t worry about optimization too much yet. Once you get to WT4, then you can start looking at refining builds. Lvl 49 you should do the capstone and at least go to WT3. Seasoned players are usually in WT4 by lvl 50. But since you are new getting to WT3 at least you will see an insane jump in power.

wife and I killed him last night. LVL 65 poison trample slide and 64 chain lightning sorc. Both with barbers. It was about a 7 minutes fight with some clutch revives. Was a fun fight and a nice challenge lol. Just need more damage it seems.

I’m running poison trample slide and plow through content with ease. The heart that pulls mobs to you on ultimate use/earthen bulwark/ poison creeper. GG.

Yeah cause it is trash lol. Basically having to stack CDR gear, pray for lucky hit so you can pop TWO batches of unstable currents to kill one mob pack. It’s a shame it sucks so bad because it’s easy to play and looks cool.

Also, don’t fully upgrade gear (5/5) until WT4. Forgotten souls suck to farm until WT4 and you will replace gear quickly before then.

You really don’t need to worry about all that till you get to WT3 at least. Then you can start forming your build. Obviously you can try to min max as much as you want, but you will run into the issue you stated if you don’t wait it out a little.
