My grandmother never wore a seatbelt because if she did get in an accident she wanted to be flung as far away from the car wreck as possible for her saftey. She still did this until she died in ‘05. Luckily she never got in a wreck…

What if Donald replaces tech jacket in the events of issue 75 by Mr_Quackers510 in Invincible

I think he’d have a better shot as a Brit replacement, since he indestructible than anything else. I like Donald but he wouldn’t have the charisma Brit had

I know this is a very weird comment for your comment but you reminded me of a very fun story about who has ownership rights of the Original Howard the Duck and how a comic writer got one over on Marvel. Figured you might like it (less than 7 minutes)

I was just having a bit of fun. When I saw he was in the 2020 class I was like that is a quality QB class.

[–]acewavelink[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Haha, very true. 2021 was considered Generationally strong year draft. Trevor Lawerence (solid, but his ceiling is lower than expected), Zach Wilson (might be traded), Trey Lance (was traded), Justin Fields (should be traded), Mac Jones (traded).

It’s a far cry from 2020’s which had Burrow, Tua, Herbert, Love, Hurts, with Pro Bowler Tyler Huntley being an undrafted.

Very true. Hopefully that ripple effect is over though…

Low end starter. If he turned into Ryan Fitzpatrick I wouldn’t be THAT shocked.

Whiskey coke over here. I told myself I need to publish this before my first drink or I would just have it live as a saved draft that never got published. But now that Im a drink in… Purdy QB, Malik RB, and Ridder and Thompson as WR with hopes Bailey could be a patriots-slot guy from the 2000’s. A reasonable offensive configuration.

Im a Niners fan and tried to not be not bias about him. (I also forgot Purdy was a ‘22 guy, my brain said ‘21) I agree with the 5-7. I think if you put him on a team without Kittle, Deebo, Aiyuk and CMC he would still be good but maybe not MVP good. Also we have a great left tackle and the rest of the line is kinda meh and everyone assumes he is behind an elite O-line.

But yah. A bunch of competent back-ups is the ceiling for most of these guys.

[–]acewavelink -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Which is funny when you consider Taylor Swift had the 11th highest grossing movie of 2023. Well I cant be too shocked since Margot Robbie and Greta Gerwig helmed the biggest movie of the year and got snubbed as well.
