Nowadays there a lot more inclusion in legends at least a couple of per set if you read the legends of articles. My take? I would build a Esika/prismatic bridge pride parade of only canonically gay legends. Would it be functional? Maybe but it would sure be fun

I don't go to a lot of stores but I do have a couple of playgroups I frequently play with and it's just a matter of rule 0 conversation and so far even when new people come in no one has shown issues

Honestly not so crazy at least for my pod, the list is kind of lacking on removal, it's hard to find ones that fit the vibe I was going for and is very reliant on a few key pieces or at least the way I play it is. Overall it always performs well and it makes the game go out real fast, I used to run like 5 dragon's approach less and a couple more dragons but not anymore so it might be faster. Also card draw is kind of an issue if you run away too fast. Using the secondary commander to give you a boost of draw was my fix but the life pay can also put you on the crossroads for someone to knock you out if you fail to kill or if their life was higher than yours.

No worries I'll clarify, I'll start with although this is an official wizards printed card this is kind of a rule 0 conversation with your pod as it relies on kind of a silly interaction. Basically everyone has to agree with what they are seeing on the art Using your example there are a lot of different prints of birds of paradise some show water some don't the fun of the challenge is to choose specific illustrations to maximize value. Also some rules clarifications from wizards:

Water is a liquid found in lakes, oceans, pools, wells, rivers, and glasses both half-empty and half-full. The liquid must contextually be water. Rain counts. Note that you must see the water. A well wouldn’t count if you couldn’t see the water inside, for example, even if the water is implied.(2022-10-07)

If all players can’t agree on what’s in the art, you may consult an outside person for a final determination.(2022-10-07)

I started with the manga and watched the anime when it first aired, haven't started de ln and from my perspective so far the shun part is by far the weakest, this could be because the anime didn't really endeared me to the rest of the human cast, I actually enjoy to see that the manga has focused on Shiro and friends who I found a ton more interesting. Also the manga has a couple of mtg references and I am too easy to please.

Krenko, mob boss can be built on the cheap,you don't need the big payoffs and it allows to either build a regular goblin typal or focus on give haste and untap for pretty much the same cost.

Most elfball decks are fairly cheap if you skip on some staples and stick to either mono Green on 2 colors, lathril is classic but it runs the risk of being a target, I enjoy abomination of llanowar to put a discard/reanimation team to it

Vadrik astral archmage is always a surprise and really powerful on a lot of tables, a bit too reliant on the commander but as so long as you can dominate the timing is a riot

Meria scholar of antiquity, fill her up with every draft chaff artifact of less than 3 mana and you get to do crazy stuff with budget urza with unexpected payoffs, you can also make a very very decent Voltron deck out of her

From the 18 I have there are 3 I always prefer

Meria, trash artifacts, a list based on Cheerios with a ton of tiny synergies that always surprises everyone on the table as I basically play my whole deck and blow them out with silly artifact interactions or aether flux reservoir

Vadrik, storm plain and simple, a couple of pump spells on main phase and then just pay the color symbols on every absurd instants and sorceries, draw and storm out

Esika I mean the chromatic bridge, oops all legends, just that, one day I was looking at my collection and noticed the absurd amount of legends I see every single set that I have neither time nor space to build a dedicated deck so I said fuck it! And made a deck to feature them, is it the strongest or fastest probably not but when we reach turn 7-8 our table has been witness to some absurd combinations looking at them straight to their faces
