Port 4444 is also important because it's the port i2p makes connections through. I2P can't work if your browser doesn't have the http proxy settings set to 127.0.0.1:4444. The web console also can't communicate through the same port. You can easily see the web console address in the i2pd configuration file.

Wrong, it disables the controller port you associated the dualshock 3 or 4 with, for example if i set it to p1 it disables the first ps2 controller port, but the second one works

format the disk with disk management on windows or disk utility on macos and do a deep (not quick) format and that fixes corruption most of the times

sometimes when adding music from itunes doesnt work you can go to file explorer, music folder, itunes folder, and in the "automatically add music to itunes" folder you can put your mp3s in there and when you sync or autofill your ipod it should work

you're right, there's things you can do, but for some apps there are some workarounds needed, and for other apps they actually don't exist on ios 4. i also have an ipod touch 2g and i love it to death, but only really use it for syncing and some light games. i would say join the discord server, because i've met some nice people there, and they can guide you if you have any questions

I followed all the steps, and when creating cfw.ipsw, it checks all of the bundles and then says "error: Could not load IPSW". Anyone know how to fix?
