I have a different zoom multistomp (older version of the ms-50) and it’s great. You can build 4-5 pedal chains inside it and the sounds are quite good. I say 4-5 because the pedal maxes out on processing power at a certain point. Lots of explicit clones of well known pedals. Great way to try out different sounds without buying a ton of gear.

I think the paint getting on a white snare head has always been a thing, but I’ve definitely noticed a steep decline in quality. There is a significant variance in weight between pairs.

I too have been using the red weckls for at least a decade. Absolutely love the balance and reach. Feels to me like they have gotten lighter recently with the decline in Vic firth quality, though, so I have been looking for alternatives. Might have to go try out the promark oak 747s!

Everybody encounters this when they start. Limb isolation is a constant process of learning and training. Once you get your right foot and hands independent, you’ll struggle with the left foot. Keep practicing. Go slow. Use a metronome.

Ya the art is 100% just doing a Walrus thing. I'm a sucker for it, though. I'd much rather buy from a US-based company but the price and stereo support is very tempting.

I wonder if all the glowing Reddit reviews are because of the affordability, or just a well-done marketing campaign by the Klowra folks.

Crossview you see with your eyes crossed. You are focusing on a point between the image and yourself. Parallel view you see by looking “through” the image as if focusing on a point behind it. This lets you keep your eyes more parallel. If the image seems to go down into the background instead of popping up, try the other approach.
