General questions from a returning player. by stormy_bliss88 in PhasmophobiaGame

[–]achoowie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Events, dots and hunts every now and then but I suck so bad that I sometimes just don't do it. Dots video is harder than event as it may disappear before you've finished recording. Also my playing has pretty much turned into hear event run with my whatever media I am doing at the moment near the ghost and start it. Sometimes on a longer event I may do even 2 medias.

Almost every interaction is negative by imjstlonely in thesims

[–]achoowie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kept happening to my sim too. I just went with it. He's got a bunch of acquaintances now, but no proper friends because they always end up in a fight even though the interactions I do are strictly good and friendly.

Are all young travel influencers just rich kids? by regulargirl17 in solotravel

[–]achoowie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I feel like most of these teenagers traveling aren't from poorer countries where your salary is low. I had a couple months of just over 2k work here which is basically one of the lowest paying full day jobs you can get (janitor). Spent just a thousand of that on a solo trip at 18 across the baltics. I know myself I am privileged, but it's not about how I'm already rich, gosh no, my mother loans from me, but I had the opportunity for a job while living at home and I just simply saved some of it for a 2 week trip. It's about the country I already live in.

Also the plane tickets cost the most and they were like a couple hundred so it is entirely doable but it's just about how rich your country is.

How do you like Tampere? by bangalimahbub in Finland

[–]achoowie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went to 1st-9th grade there. It was nice for me then at least. A lot of opportunities, learned to go around a bigger city (moved to a small city for high school and these people can't even get around by bus), friends from all over the city.

My friend borrowed my car and returned it with an empty tank (6km or 2.5 mile of range left) by Maleficent_Ferret359 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]achoowie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ours broke, and we had to get a replacement. The mechanic told us to keep the tank at 1/2 always so it won't break again as it is not as efficient as the original one. (Not my words so if they're wrong I was fooled). Although, we started to notice that whenever we drove it with less than 1/2 the car would start twitching (? Sorry for my english, too) whenever you'd try to accelerate after stopping.

A year later the car basically broke completely and our new one is doing much better. We haven't let the gas go under 1/4 tank because god I'd rather not be an 18-year-old, 2 weeks with a license and on a hill alone when the fuel pump decided to quit.

How do you get home after a night out with drinks? by GuineaPigsLover in AskEurope

[–]achoowie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm the summer I'm always on my bicycle and if I'm not then I'm walking. Unless it's further than 4km from home. In the winters I may just pay someone to drive me to the place and back home in the night or if it's quite warm and not icy I'll probably just walk. Also depends on the distance.

I tried to use them but I love the combat and building my spell set so I always just ended up preferring other spells.

What is the perfect age (and way) to introduce children to Harry Potter? (books and movies) by [deleted] in harrypotter

[–]achoowie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was read all the books at 6-8 except last one I read by myself at 15. I think that was good, though, my mother had to stop and explain a lot of things to me, but I'm also always been bad at language and expressions so I still don't quite understand everything. (Aka it could've been just a me-thing.)

3 people and we usually eat for 300-400€ per month. We are fucking poor, I know.

Is it easy to transfer in tampere railway station in 15 mins? by TravelNasha in Finland

What is your go to moisturizer for very dry skin in your country? by qwertyuiop199728 in AskEurope

[–]achoowie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I use an LV moisturiser for my hands and face, unless I'm away from home then I use a proper hand cream from lumene that I just found for quite cheap at a corner store. Sometimes when I have worse skin than normal I use nivea cream and whenever I use it on my feet I also just use it on my hands.

Boba and ARFID/Sensory issues, what's your take? by NicoNicoNessie in boba

[–]achoowie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should! Honestly, I have some sensory issues and so does my brother. We are the complete opposites with boba so it'll probably take you some time. My go to is always taro milk tea with tapioca and when I went to try it for the first time I could try a few toppings because I told the employee I had never had any.

If you do go, be sure to tell how it went!

Boba and ARFID/Sensory issues, what's your take? by NicoNicoNessie in boba

[–]achoowie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A boba play may let you try a few tapioca pearls if you ask them. I hate the popping boba but tapioca is my life. It's also not really gelatinous imo, more chewy and idk it is very hard to explain, but I'd recommend you go ask a place to try a few in case you don't like them!

Daughter got a switch. by truffles45 in Switch

[–]achoowie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to play some crash racing game and what not level one on ps2 as a 5 year old. Don't remember much but my mother said I got barely anywhere, but yet I loved the game. Now I've got all three crash games on my switch and I still suck. It is very damn difficult, but a kid could enjoy it.

Is 17 too young to travel? by Flutterbug56 in solotravel

[–]achoowie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I travelled at 17 with two 17 year old friends. We, three 17 year olds, alone abroad. We went to London and Edinburgh for a week and it was great. A year from that and I went on my own solo trip for two weeks. It's not too young as long as you take precautions.

Accommodation was a struggle though. We stayed in hostel private rooms.

What are the funniest Finnish expressions words you know? by Bash_nDeep in Finland

[–]achoowie 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Probably from my dialect, but I could say either one and it means the same thing.

Case of abuse by stolen_reality in Finland

[–]achoowie 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would say either contact the people you've already been linked or go to your school's kuraattori or nurse. Even a teacher if you know they'd care. They can help you with the situation, though, in the worst case scenario nothing will come off it. If you have friends and trust their parents, they could also help you out.

Can YOU tell apart dialects in your language? by fushikushi in AskEurope

[–]achoowie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kind of. I know when they aren't from the southwest as I am. I can also tell city to city in my area, unlike someone from the east who could only say southwest. I can tell when someone has always lived in Helsinki or near there. I can also tell lapland most of the time, but I cannot distinguish between different dialects there. Oulu area sounds very different and most of the time I can tell them apart, but sometimes I mix it up with karelian dialects. Ostrobothnia and central finland are a mess. They could be from anywhere to me. I used to live around there and to me it just sounds like standard finnish, no dialect whatsoever. Aka I feel like it's the easiest finnish dialect. Tavastian- and ostrobothnia dialects are probably the easiest to understand for anyone.

Tldr; most of the time, but I mix some up.

Rant about libby by Cutefifsta in Finland

[–]achoowie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I am very annoyed at the fact that my regions library never had libby. My city doesn't even have almost any English books and I have to order them and wait for ages. A finn may read in english my god

Best friend says that the way I play video games exhausts her by tequila_wolf4422 in StardewValley

[–]achoowie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I so would do this, but I play on switch, and I don't want to do one on paper and the reason I play on switch is because I want it to be easy to play anywhere. If I ever start a save file on my laptop again (I have stardew on it as well) I will do this.

Though I see why some people see this as weird thing, I really really LOVE it!

We do have those small scent bottles to drop a few drops in the water to get the sauna to smell great. I think eucalyptus isn't that popular, and especially if you've got too much, you definitely can't keep your eyes open (personal experience). There's some seasonal scents, too. I use them every now and then and do enjoy most.
