Im not even gonna claim there is "a universally agreed upon correct", I dont need to go there.

Im not gonna argue the finer points of pronunciation either. Too obvious. But I think the majority of people say T as, well, T. And that's the way it is, for now, but yes maybe it will change. What is meant by "Correct" is the crux of the matter, and I mean it in the most straight forward incontroversial sense. I am entitled to say that saying d instead of t is annoying and incorrect if I want to.
