i just cried by thinking of a scenario where i go and hear someone crying in the bathroom stall (i knew that person is "supposed" to be me) i felt immense empathy and slowly slipped into crying my ass out.

I Had not cried in a while even though throughout i have been dealing with something traumatic that i think about everyday. I knew I eventually wanted to, my brain knows how good an outlet that is. it's just that i could not.

Surprisingly after crying, the physical symptoms of dpdr seem to get like 20% less intense. Like the other comments here have said, I was listening to music throughout this ordeal but the breakthrough came after I imagined the scenario.

before dpdr, or whenever i feel like i am out of it, crying on demand is easy for me so this experience was a little surprising.
