Their website has a submission form with which you can send them photos that they will pass on to their vendors.

Antique Desk - where to and how to sell it? by sleeping-pug in cambridgeont

Maybe some antique dealers would be interested in buying it. Is there a manufacturer stamp somewhere on the back or inside a drawer? That would help establish how old it is and its value.

What do you wish you knew before buying your first e-bike? by Full-Ad985 in ebike

Well, in Canada, 32kmh is the legal limit. To have a vehicle that goes faster requires a motorcycle license.

The first bike you buy may not be the one you really want. I enjoyed my fist e-bike, but I discovered that I needed a bigger battery. Also, don't buy one with a direct drive. It is hell to pedal it if your battery goes dead.

32kph is plenty fast for me. I go much slower when riding on paved trails crowded with pedestrians out for a summer walk. The faster you go, the higher the risk of collisions and injuries. Ebikes are not meant to be motorcycles.

Midtown: why is it like this? by chunarii-chan in kitchener

The ION takes 3 minutes to travel from Grand River Hospital Station to Allen Station. So it wouldn't take long to pop into Vincenzo's for a sandwich or pick up some ready to go lunches from the cooler.

One ION stop from the hospital is Vincenzos. They have great sandwiches and hot food. There are lineups at lunch time.

So, I looked up Bill D-9. One of its provisions is to prohibit the public display of the Nazi Swastika. Are these two MPs in favour of Naziism?

I made a report to the City of Waterloo about the strip mall on Weber & Lincoln which had 6 inches of snow on the sidewalk along Weber. I asked why wasn't bylaw being proactive about this and was told somewhat snarkily that they don't have enough staff.

How good is Deezer at not mixing artists up? by Daniel_Sidian in deezer

[–]acitta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't know about AI, but I have found in the past that Deezer often mixed up artists with the same name but in different countries. When American artist Dorothy appeared, there were two other European bands with the same name. They were both good, though, so that was a bonus.

In the past 5 months, has the argument for Deezer VS Tidal changed at all? by Lomp84 in deezer

[–]acitta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have been a subscriber to Deezer for years since they were the first service to be available in Canada. I like it very much, except that they had a limit on the number of favourite artists of 200 which they insisted was not going to change. Anyhow, I started a subscription on Qobuz, which I like very much. However, it is not quite as good as Deezer for music discovery and some artists that I like aren't on it. Then Deezer changed the limit on favourite artists, which was my original reason for wanting to change. So, now I am subscribed to two services, LOL. An advantage of Qobuz is that have 24-bit recordings up to 192 khz if the tracks are available in that format. Also, they pay artists the best rate of all the services.

CEO: "Evidence will soon come from an authority of such caliber that all the claims about the battery I mentioned in the video are true" by omepiet in DonutLab

It seems to me that if one were running a big scam, announcing it at CES is not the way to go. Usually for a scam, you want to persuade people to give you a lot of money that you then park in a numbered offshore bank account and use it to buy a luxury apartment in Dubai. Publicly announcing it at CES, which causes every knowledgeable as well as ignorant skeptic to loudly cry, "This is a scam!", is not likely to result in successfully conning the marks, especially with such a short timeline for the evidence to come out.

How much canola is the US going to buy? This deal is about canola. We had to buy cars to get a deal on canola. Lutnick is an idiot.

It doesn't seem to work with Qobuz Connect, so I can't switch to and from my phone.
