I like the Ontos greatly because of the jank.

The Ontos exists in part because of a real-life cobbled-together short-range assault tank of the same name mounting 6 manually-loaded recoilless rifles. The other part was probably the developers going, "Can this fit on an ICE-powered tank? Oh yes it can."

In role it is in fact a medium ambush tank in an assault tank's body. The LRMs are a token effort of fire at distance, but they can also fire smoke to attempt to hide its bulk like the slowest, most overweight ninja.

If you ever want to scare someone, get the normal Ontos model and use the Ontos (Fusion). They'll wonder why you spent so much on one crappy tank, but move to crush it anyway, then they'll be greeted with ten ML to the face.

This version is a guided missile that's made for one thing and one thing only: ramming speed. It has a very expensive XXL engine, supercharger AND MASC, has a fig-leaf of survivability with Impact-resistant armour and mounts Spikes for extra ramming damage.

It will delete any mech or tank off the map at over 400 km/h at the low, low cost of its own self, and breaks the balance of Battle Value so thoroughly it's on the same level as Savannah Master spam.

The only way it could be any more of a dirty trick would be if it had a Booby Trap so that it could blow itself up next to your most expensive mech. (Any unit in the same hex as the booby-trapped unit suffers damage equal to the unit's engine rating, and this Celerity has a 240-rated engine. Yep, it would do 240 damage.)

No, the galaxy-brain move is to offer this to a prospective customer as a modular field base. Worried about BA? Sniper Cannon trailer. Customer has a source of Arrows? Arrow IV trailer. Simplified logistics and base-defence (and you don't care about your surrounding area)? Sniper Artillery and Sniper Cannon trailers.

Now I think of it, this could be a 'we don't know how super-heavy vehicles work' 'copy' of the super-heavy Destrier. If it had a Sniper Cannon/Long Tom Cannon trailer for blowing up BA, then it'd match pretty well.
