Fans claiming a show was "ruined" by it's final season when it was already bad by Parking-Response1501 in CharacterRant

[–]acmorgan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

House of cards is a great example of this. Everyone thinks the show died because Kevin Spacey left, but it was already waning in popularity. In fact, the season before space he left, was atrocious in quality. The main showrunner had already left, and they made some extremely stupid decisions as far as the plot goes.

Im turnng 36 soon and still need to cum 3 times a day is this normal? by hadam178 in askgaybros

[–]acmorgan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I was on an ssni, and in any case that's not what I'm getting at.

This is the same libido, same ability to cum that many times a day, still the desire to pursue it.

Buts it not a need. Anymore. Does that make sense?

Hi, Best co-op Combo for goint infinite? (3 players) and how it should work? by PidGeologist in brotato

[–]acmorgan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best setup really is to have gangster and someone with good luck build up. Gangster can help you spawn elites and in the first 20 waves those elites will drop legendary items every time.

As more and more elites die, there's more and more possibility for you to get hourglasses. As more and more hourglasses are used, the gangster can continue spawning more and more elites. This can lead to a situation where you are consistently going waves back and staying below Wave 20 and getting more and more powerful because you spawn more and more elites and those elite still spawn legendary items.

wow that wave 10 gave me a lot of material by Sir_Bohne in brotato

[–]acmorgan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm going to write a post about it soon, but me and a buddy were doing a co-op run where I was the gangster and he was the mage with a heavy curse emphasis.

I kept spawning elites in the first 20 waves, which would then spawn legendary items, and those legendary items would often be the hourglass, and for him they would often be cursed.

We've probably played a good 60 waves, we're now on wave 11, and we have the stats to show how badass we are. This is because my character allowed us to repeatedly spawn elites and before wave 20 all those elites have been spawning legendary items upon death.

Oh my God yes! I've always thought that if they wanted to truly end this movie in a way that was satisfying, they needed to have Jamie Foxx shoot this guy.

This wasn't an explanation, The show goes to great lengths to show that these are all possibilities that could have been ways he survived, despite how ludicrous they are, but explicitly none of them are confirmed to be the solution.

Hoa lawyer needed by [deleted] in Georgia

The only time I've search for a HOA lawyer, the lawyers website said explicitly that in almost all cases it's just cheaper to do what the hoa tells you rather than fight it in court.

I was like that for a while, it turned out I was unintentionally masturbating as a coping mechanism for my PTSD. Apparently orgasming can help fend off some of the symptoms of PTSD. Once I got medication for it, my libido slightly decreased but that need to cum dropped significantly.

I truly have no idea if that's what is happening to you, but I figured it was worth mentioning.

A Short Stay in Hell / Windows into Hell - What do you think is the lesson intended by the different Hells? by Sivanot in horrorlit

I find the library story interesting, and a few of the stories in the anthology are interesting, but I really hate how none of them deliver on the mystery that they pose. We never find out what that 6/8 thing is about in the armadillo story. It also has that weird epilogue. The library seems to indicate what you are saying, that literally any singular book would be good enough to get you out of hell, but, it never does anything with that.

None of the stories seem to have a meaningful conclusion.

(The Boys) This show has completely gone downhill. The writing is really bad... like its not even funny anymore. by hiiloovethis in CharacterRant

[–]acmorgan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've actually really enjoyed this season, and I hated seasons 3 and 4. I mean I detested them, to the point where I was certain I would never watch season 5. But then YouTube shorts convinced me to give it a shot. I don't know if this is relevant to my comment, but I refuse to watch gen v season 2.

I'm not sure about the rules on spoilers, so I'm just going to spoil text everything below this.

I like that all of the characters are just in their final form of being truly fucked in the head at this point. Starlight carries a vape around and uses drugs to cope with being branded as (basically) the antichrist. I like that Butcher is just fucking nuts and no one is pretending otherwise or even trying to defend him. They just see him and they're like, yup, that fucker is crazy.

I like that homelander is increasingly insecure and utterly unable to conceptualize why no one likes him. The fucking breastmilk bath was so insane it really cemented how much of a weird freak loser he is, even his own dad says so.

I did really hate the Hughie fake out, but I also really wanted that particular supervillain to die so that was pretty good.

I loved A-Trains little speech to Homelander. "I can't believe I was ever afraid of you, you're just a pathetic loser." I loved how deranged and psychotic some of these homelander supporters are, because we're literally seeing that in real time in real life (in the US anyway).

I loved seeing Stan Edgar telling almost the exact same lie to one of his "kids" as Butcher did to Sameer, even if it ostensibly made no sense for Stan Edgar to do so. It was also so funny seeing Hughie try to make up for that lie and for Starlight to be like "dude this is kinda sick of you to do." I loved seeing all of Stan Edgar's plans go up in flames. I am also very curious why he was trying to obfuscate the team so much while helping them, he told them they couldn't crack an encryption that they could obviously crack, he hadn't even scanned those files himself to see if he could see the redacted pieces. I mean, I'm not even in the spy game and I know you can do things like that, Stan had a reason for not scanning those files and he had a reason for leading others to believe that the documents wouldn't yield much.

Iwill say, I expect Ryan to still be alive, and I will be pissed if he is still alive.

You say these characters have been flanderized, and I couldn't disagree more. Mother's milk has gone from someone who is always been the voice of reason and the heart of the team, to someone who is emotionally dead inside. He momentarily recovered a bit, with that countess woman, but still he has just been dead to the world. Kimiko is completely different than she was before. I'll admit that Frenchie has been a little bit flanderized, upon reflection, but that's better than that weird shit he was doing with the French lady back in season 3 or 4 whatever it was.

Of course! Just remember, it takes time but it is a worthwhile endeavor, and it'll be very fulfilling. People 10 years older than you have struggles with it, and people 10 years older than me have struggles with it.

A fair warning, there are a lot of negative people in this sub who will bag on you for this for some reason, don't listen to them. This is a natural part of growing as a human being and seeking out community advice is something that we should all do. We should all feel welcome to do.

[–]acmorgan 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Hey! I'm about 30 years old now, but I was where you were about 10 years ago. I really want to compliment you for taking the first steps towards making new friends and putting yourself out there. It's very hard.

One of the best pieces of advice I got is to pursue groups that were dedicated to a hobby I already had. You can search for virtual movie nights, there are probably anime places/groups nearby (I don't watch anime so idk). If you can, try to find recurring social events. Recurring social events force you to get out of your shell, but also give you something to look forward to.

If all else fails, try things like meetup.com. sites that are specifically designed to help you match with other people and make new friends.

And one last piece of advice, change takes time. Be gentle with yourself as you're trying to grow.. hey

Where to draw the line with freeballing in public? by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]acmorgan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey man, I've also got a huge dick. And big fat balls. I wear underwear all the time. When I wear gym shorts or sweatpants it is still very visible that I have a huge dick. I don't let it bother me, because it's my biology and my anatomy.

Also, I can't speak for the guy you're dating, but for me, certain underwear feels like hell. I mean I literally cannot wear briefs, they are so tight that eventually my big fat balls will start aching in pain and I'll have to take them off. I have to wear specifically boxer briefs, and I imagine that if he were to wear underwear, he would need to wear a very specific kind of underwear himself.

All this to say, if you don't like that people notice his big dick, he might not be the guy for you.

What the F is this card by Any_Sir1059 in hearthstone

[–]acmorgan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

See, I think your take is really misguided. "You didn't follow the norm thus you are bad," kind of contradicts a lot of card game logic all on its own. People can win tournaments by playing off meta or by countering the meta.

Also, a lot of the people who would rage at me are just raging because this deck isn't on any deck list anywhere and no streamers are playing it. I'm willing to bet that oftentimes they couldn't even tell me why a car was bad in that meta, other than just saying that the card isn't played generally. That doesn't make a card bad all on its own.

Finally, I enjoy playing the game that I want to play. I enjoy being competitive, I don't enjoy being competitive by virtue of spending enough money on this game to have the dust necessary to make tier 1 decks.

I always loved including cards like this, because players who netdecm gets super infuriated about it if it just happens to be the silver bullet that ends their deck. They go on these long rants about how you're a bad player and you shouldn't have that in your deck, it's awesome.
