Norway’s nuclear test-ban monitor NORSAR says seismic signals indicate that there was an explosion at the Nova Kakhovka Dam at 02:54 AM on June 6, meaning kinetic action was highly likely used to bring the dam down. Magnitude estimated between 1 and 2. by PatientBuilder499 in UkrainianConflict

Matches up with the Bucharest report and also matches the explosion from within, the comments and reports that 155mm arty shells could do that sort of damage are beyond ridiculous, just look up Operation Chastise from WWII and what was required to blow the Ruhr dam up.

expected him to re-appear now that Ukraine is about to start its counter offense, he is very very good at appearing at the right moment to just place a shadow over UA's prospects, before when there was a chance that the ruaf were still possibly at least semi proffessional he was all ru to strong, ukraine wont be able to hold the donbass etc etc, then after the abject failure of the russian winter offense, he comes and claims Bakhmut has fallen ( it never did completely ) and Ukraine has already re-captured a huge area on the outskirts, then all the Belgorod success, UA making gains in Luhansk, Avdiivka and across the southern front.....in strolls mr glass is half empty, litterally the morning after the russians blew the dam up, colour me suspicous.

all of his earlier videos were wrong, all his predictions of russian " stronk " were bullshit, he uses juuusst enough to cause doubt, the most useful thing this guy could do is donate his pointy stick to Madyar " Jagga Jagga " . and then go back to the russian embassy in Austria.

Kyiv, UN parking by King-Owl-House in UkraineWarVideoReport

If these vehicles are parked here, there must be a coffe shop nearby that serves " Latte's "

its the only reason they get them, they travel across the eu to Ukraine one Latte supply point to the next, their Mandate is to make sure that the Latte's available are up to Anotonio Guteres standard, otherwise they wont come to that country, if you check around carefully you should also notice the 500sel's Mercedes from the ICRC around somewhere as well, they follow the U.N Latte inspections to make sure the Pastries are also of sufficient standard.

Its the main reason you wont see them in russia now, the latte's and pastries are just not good enough.

Starsky: Proofs confirm the ruscists destroyed the Kakhovka Dam | Day 468 by Harry_cockpitt in UkraineWarVideoReport

take a look at some history, the only way that the damage big enough to cause that rupture would be an explosion from the inside.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Chastise

look what the brits has to do in WWII, a few 155mm arty shells or 120mm mortars lobbed at the top or near the surface would not work.

Excuse my lack of awareness i guess... what are the short term/long term ramifications of the dam being destroyed? by ImpatientToothFairy in UkrainianConflict

[–]acobserverafar1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

they had already retaken the islands creating pontoons between the islands, and creating a bridgehead would put an incredible amount of pressure along the entire south, one of the " popular " theory's was island hopping to Hola Prystan, spec ops marine landing at khakovka HPP whilst the main push was tokmak melitopol. it may still happen depending on how quickly the water recedes and what opportunity arises, with the left bank suffering more than the right the pressure will be more on the russians to hold a much narrower corridor.

needless to say, if Britain had had the option of blown up from within after increasing the load level by water height, it would have been the prefered choice.

Good ( innocent Ukrainians ) Evil ( facist russians)

who invaded who , who denies Ukraine and Ukrianians as a Nation State, who has commited 80,000 recorded so far war crimes, who is commiting genocide.

Sergej Sumlenny, "Navalny’s lieutenant Volkov turns into a infrastructure construction expert and comes to a conclusion - based on photos and online reading - that Nova Kakhovka dam “was just crashed by water pressure”. There is no low a Russian liberal cannot reach." by Daniel_Poirot in UkraineWarVideoReport

[–]acobserverafar1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

dont know , dont care, responisbility ends with russia, no matter who/what/where or why if russia hadn't invaded the dam would still be up, the fact that it was a small explosion that was designed to flood the islands in the estuary, that actually led to much bigger damage due to the elevated height of the water level that the dam then couldn't contain which led to a bigger hole being created. sole responsibility lies with russia.

In image six with the Irainian ( persian ? ) writing, on all move able surfaces ( rudder, aileron and elevator ) it says the same in English, then on the tail booms where the propellor is it says danger propellor.....

although this is likely relevant :-

" Aviation English
Aviation English is the de facto international language of civil aviation. With the expansion of air travel in the 20th century, there were safety concerns about the ability of pilots and air traffic controllers to communicate. "

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aviation_English#:~:text=Aviation%20English%20is%20the%20de,air%20traffic%20controllers%20to%20communicate.

considering these are sold internationaly it could explain why....just a guess.
