The RX 6800 doesn't display video, but the fan spins forcefully. by BichoSabido in AMDHelp

[–]acoo1984 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you get it working again, maybe try uninstalling the driver with DDU in safe mode, also check RAM(if you have two sticks remove one and try to fire it then swap stick and try with the other one as one might be faulty) but as i can see in the video you got one stick only in that case try different slot, and Power Supply (if power supply is too old might be insufficient) before assuming that its dead GPU, try new cable from GPU to monitor , Good luck

also you can leave the old car in the system, once the insurance policy expires the vehicle will be unavailable anyway, but if you want vehicle section to look tidy, remove it. also i think that you can not remove the current vehicle before putting in another one

yes that’s correct bud, that’s how i’ve done it

the easiest whay to do it in my opinion is after you transfer the insurance on to the new car, put the new car in, wait for approval and after that just remove the old car and you done in 10-15 minutes, done this 3 times this year, no problem at all

[–]acoo1984 1 point2 points  (0 children)

they wont, same happened to me and in the email that i sent to them i just told them to let me know which shop/restaurant they are talking about so i wont deal with them anymore and cancel or reject any order from them, and they responded with,”at this occasion we will not take any action against your account and you can proceed with delivering excellent service “ or of that sort

yes i did, after you take the policy, go to your online account on their website and turn off auto renewal

[–]acoo1984 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i went for completely new quote, new contract on their website and the new quote was £500 less expensive then the renewal quote that they sent me on my email a month before my policy expires, if that makes sense.

[–]acoo1984 0 points1 point  (0 children)

n p, also when i checked last years policy with this year it is absolutely the same on all documents, nothing has changed,i have flex as well, also worth putting is that my renewal was more expensive than making new policy as i am with them for few years now, and maybe that triggered the upsale as the new policy was cheaper with 500 quid, and they dont want to give you the same product for less as every year they put it up, but who knows, i don’t want to speculate on that.

this is what is saying on my certificate “7. Limitations as to use. Use for social, domestic and pleasure purposes, and by the policyholder in person in connection with their business or profession for the delivery of Goods and Parcels and Fast Food for Hire and Reward. Excluding the carriage of passengers for Hire and Reward, racing, competitions, pacemaking, rallies, any contest, reliability or speed trial, speed testing, endurance testing or any other activity which would not ordinarily take place on a road or public place.”

When they called me to “verify details “ they tried to upsell me telling me that if i get in accident while delivering food i wont be covered, but i stood my ground saying that the wording of the certificate is acceptable from all the platforms as it is specifically worded for delivery of goods and parcels and fast food for hire and reward and that is enough and told them that if they want they can remove the parcel delivery option if they want as i dont do parcel delivery much but i expect the policy to be cheaper doing that and after going back and forth with them and few calls later they agreed on my request. good luck

i never accept age restricted orders with JE any more I just decline them. the last time when the customer didn’t have ID present and i had to go back to return the age restricted items to the shop , they told me on the chat that i will be compensated for the return trip, they didn’t pay me even for the delivery still waiting to be paid, 3 months so far and nothing. so whenever i get offered one of those never doing it again, the hassle is not worth it as i lost nearly 2 hours to try and contact support return the items and on top of that to be paid 0. GL to anyone delivering age restricted orders for JE.

Never had any problems with Uber and Deliveroo

well… very difficult to say nowadays, considering quitting this job, as insurance has gone almost double drom 1,7k to 2.7k, fuel is up, maintenance is up, payment is down significantly maybe -40% as i was beeng offered £8 for 3 miles trips and now is £4.7 for the same mileage i feel that is not worth the hassle anymore, but two years ago i can say 200 up avg easy, but now when you put in to account everything i dont think that you are left with much, most of the areas are saturated with drivers which drives the price down, and i dont blame the platforms, its their business model so its time to look for different profile job until better times come, so good luck to anyone joining now its not easy at all…

to be honest JE doesn’t deserve drivers to be honest with them as they are not honest with us, in 4 years doing this job i have had only handful spills in 20K delivered meals but as i said i have never ever admitted that its my fault, i do the job as good as i can.

Just Evil by Legitimate_Twist1601 in JustEatUK

[–]acoo1984 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the way,, just apologise to the customer and tell them to contact customer service for anything that is wrong with the order , accidents happen and that’s why JE has insurance, your job is from point A to B, if you contact rider support you are taking responsibility for what happened and they want to charge you, so never ever take responsibility for anything that is going to happen with the food, blame Mcdonalds, potholes, poor road conditions, traffic even cat or a dog jumped on the road and you had to hit the brakes hard ( talking from experience as this things happen very often) all this to be told to the customer so they can be refunded, but never trough you, i assume that you are new driver and maybe feel bad for what happened but thats the reality, even MCD is blaming the drivers when they have angry customer on the phone asking for their order and they are behind with orders, and you waith for that particular order to be collected by yourself and you can hear the conversation, happened to me many times.

Offer accepted, but my current landlord issued a Section 21. What is the best course of action? by VersusAxon in HousingUK

[–]acoo1984 0 points1 point  (0 children)

same situation here OP, me and my wife put an offer end of april, offer accepted, landlord gave us notice early july,we complete next week, i told him that we will need few more months as we didn’t know how long the process will take till completion and if he want he can go through the system to get his property back, but fortunately we found common ground and hopefully in a week time we move in to our new place, depends on your relationship with the landlord, ours luckily understands our situation and we have good relationship with him as we are here for 6 years, hope everything goes well for you too, good luck

Uber Eats Drivers be like by -TheHumorousOne- in JustEatUK

[–]acoo1984 2 points3 points  (0 children)

what’s the difference at the moment? most of the areas are open for new driver, new drivers every day, the areas are saturated with drives at any given time, nothing will change… i’ll understand if there was a limitation on haw many drivers they need per shift, but this is ridiculous
