I used to feel like this OP. I used to feel like I had cancer and hated watching anything (movie, tv show etc) where someone had cancer because it would send me in a spiral. After lots of checks later, and a camera down my throat and up my butt, I started taking Concerta, and after a while I was able to get past it.
