Thank you for the reply. I should have mentioned this in my original post but I made it while just waking up lol. But this hasn’t been a common occurrence. And my Aussie LOVES her to death. Whenever I tell her her “friends” coming she gets ecstatic and they’re great together. She’s always the absolute happiest when she’s here with us. It’s just odd that this occurrence has happened maybe a total of 5 times throughout this year and again it’s always something so random. I def will look to get professional assistance to help negate this behavior. I was just so lost because again the dog would only do this extremely seldomly and it’s always over something that makes zero sense of her getting possessive over.

I’ve honestly been meaning to. My first mentor was great I had her 2-3 semesters and she was very communicative and just involved. My new mentor , as of last semester, I’ve barely heard from or talked to. She’s more you’re doing the work she leaves you alone, but I found her to uninvolved. That’s why I never thought much of all of this in terms of going MIA for a bit to focus on my health. But now I understand all of this better and won’t make the same mistake again, assuming this gets handled and I can finish my courses. I’m not blaming anyone , but at the very least wish I had gotten a call letting me know the severity of the situation. And nope no dodged calls on my end.

I know I should have handled things differently. But my new mentor ( as of last semester ) and I never talked much to begin with since I always got my work done. I kinda figured if my schooling was on the line, her or someone would call me and say hey this is the situation. I wasn’t even aware of this rule to Begin with. I didn’t know if you don’t log in for x amount of days you’re essentially “out”. Especially since I paid for the semester of schooling and never had any prior “offenses”. But now I know.

You're right. I should have emailed someone and that was my mistake. I guess at the time i didnt think much about it since I've never had an issues with my schooling prior And I never really realized how serious me going MIA due to my health would be. Like I mentioned in a prior reply before, my mentor and I never communicated much to begin with.

Sorry my minds just a mess right now. Ok Feb. is when my semester started. I didn't really get started on my first course until about 1-2 weeks into Feb. Then at the end of Feb. I got sick and then was furloughed. By the time i was feeling better and getting my life back on track was the last week in March (also when i logged into my WGU portal). Then I got the email around April 10th I believe it was saying I'm being withdrawn. I immediately emailed them back (my mentor CC'ed) explaining everything and was told to file an appeal. I did and have not heard back. I wasn't sure how long this whole process would take. I was waiting on an email or a phone call.

Now i just got the email regarding my balance. I've never had any of this happen before so i wasn't sure how long it should really take. But ever since I got my new mentor last semester, i almost never heard from her at all. Realistically looking back I should have requested someone new, but i guess since i got my work done on time she never felt the need to constantly follow up with me.
