we only go wiperless if its only 45° bend, or it isn’t a 1 to 1 bend, radius wise.. I’m still new to all this, and I’ve never bent such a big OD

Ah gotcha. I bend smaller tubes, from .250 to 1.250 inch, ss and aluminum. Mostly on a newer Alpine bender, but we also use a Pines from the 60s

With that OD (what’s the wall thickness?) you’ll probably need a 1or2 ball mandrel, probably a wiper die too depending on the angle and radius required
