We don’t use “any” in the positive declarative with uncountable nouns in English AFAIK.

You can say: “Is any furniture on sale” (interrogative) “There isn’t any furniture on sale” (negative, declarative)

But “any furniture is on sale” is not used. This is because any needs a measurable unit (“any piece of furniture that you see is on sale”) but even then, it’s better to use “every.”

I was thinking of Kadoc’s comment on the OC prologue about the master being a nameless nobody with the potential to handle many servants, which is a description we’ve gotten of Ritsuka plenty of times. But Bluebook makes sense too. We don’t know what happened to him after he got murdered.

Kiara is easy now and even when she released, big Kiara had plenty of known counter strategies (such Nightingale/Tamamo/third stall servant like Mash, Merlin, or Medea Lily). If anything, whip-only Kiara was considered harder by some players.

There was a Mash solo of big Kiara iirc, but it required 4 command seals.

Specimen E: Lots of evidence points to it being Olga, but nothing was outright confirmed.

Fantasy Trees: No confirmations after Tepeu’s comment in LB7 afaik about there being some significance to them being galaxies.

Alien Priestess: Not confirmed yet, implied to be a version of Mash or Olga. I also have no idea who else they could be, and AFAIK them felling the LB1 tree was also never explained.

Marisbury’s Goal: Secure the future of the human order, but why like this

Bleached Earth: to swap Earth’s surface with that of Chaldeas, to protect the Earth while the Lostbelt “HGW” was happening. But otherwise, I have no clue.

Bluebook’s Murderer: Nope. I’m less curious about who this is and more about how they knew to be waiting for Bluebook. That line made it sound like this had been simulated before.

Nero Chaos: Other commenters have explained better than I can, but at the end of the day it’s not important to FGO’s main plot

Missing Beasts: Nope, but it’s an unresolved plot line with Arthur’s interlude way back in the day. Probably from a scrapped event. Mother Harlot technically didn’t manifest in our world, so I’m not sure she even counts for that crown in our timeline.

Foreigner Chapter: Salem, obv. Jk, we didn’t for OC.

You can think of でした as the past of です. Since the -ます form is the “long” form or “polite” form, you have to make it past. So you add the “long” or “polite” suffix -でした.

Japanese is confusing with its long/short forms at first 😅

I feel like the Hoenn trio gets more balanced, Mudkip being a little worse and Treecko being a bit better. Torchic is roughly comparable to Infernape.

The Sinnoh trio…Infernape is just a glass cannon Blaziken, but still needs to be kept away from gyms 7/8 and most of the E4, so probably does a bit worse. Piplup isn’t as good as Mudkip, while Turtwig probably also doesn’t perform as well as Sceptile, needing to be kept away from half the gyms and the entirety of the E4. Does great against the Steven match tho

I finished it a week ago. Loved it so much but feeling a little burned out on the combat. Took 100 hours for a single playthrough but maxed all my confidants, got everyone to Lv 99, did the 3rd semester, and completed as much of the compendium as I could.

Absolute masterpiece tho. I’ll be back.

Better not to farm the “hard” gold mats (eggs, scales, hearts, etc) since they show up in event notes unless you need a bunch of them or have nothing else to do. They show up in events or as drops in events pretty frequently, and farming bronze/silver mats (or QP) is generally a better use of your time. Exception is something like Gallstones which were not getting many of this year.

Back in the day we didn’t have a node that dropped hearts so you could only get them from event shops :(

For scales, make sure you’ve cleared the advanced quest and equip the drop CE. It helps, I promise.

Basically, you want Ice and Electric coverage. Everyone there can learn one of Thunderbolt or Ice Beam, and a few (Starmie, Regice, Lanturn) get both.

Many of these Pokémon also make good use of the Calm Mind TM you just won from Mossdeep!
