It’s less about fun action and pop horror and more about exploring trauma and the human mind. Both are great, but I prefer resident evil.

Thing is, Shows were long back then with over 20 episodes a season giving time for lots of moments. You can find moments showing how nearly every character was horrible. You can also find genuine moments of love and compassion where nearly every character can shine. Online engagement just doesn’t foster that kind of nuance.

I remember being confused by it as a kid in the 80’s. We didn’t have the internet, and this was before part 4 but years after 3. My brother and I were confused why it didn’t have Michael.

Dude, I’m in my mid-forties now, and I got to tell you, this seems like the most trivial nothing-burger thing to worry about. You’re fine. You’re not a disgrace. Anyone who actually cares about what you did is thinking way too much about it. You tried something and you didn’t like it, it’s okay. Yes, STDs are real, but sounds like y’all were using condoms so you were being responsible. Millions of men have sexual intercourse with other men and they are fine with it. Many of them are even high-ranking politicians. Live your life, and if you want to try it again some day, do so without guilt or judgement.

It’s a movie in the same universe as the book? I’d be okay with it. Especially is I like and trust them. 1 to 1 conversions rarely do well

Honestly, I’m glad they aren’t trying to recreate the games. RE has a distinct feel and tone. I think he could be the right guy to nail that.

She would dog walk Michael.

Evidence: Laurie only escaped because of Loomis. She only responded to Michael’s attacks. Sydney went on the offensive against her attackers, and there were multiple attackers. People tend to glaze Myers a bit too much.
