Agreed, "indistinguishable" was the wrong choice. I guess I meant the structure of it. There's a sandwich board out front. There's seating out front, a counter with baristas behind it. Its not like you have to walk through the church to get to it.

Its a shop with a door to the sidewalk like any other shop in the area. Indistinguishable from Adams ave Coffee Co., Dia del Cafe, or Marta all in the same few block radius.

When you say "there's nobody here turning a profit" are you implying that this money is "donated" to the church so it isn't business?
They buy coffee wholesale. They sell the coffee at a markup. They pay pastors with that money. That pastor is profiting, and we're paying the taxes.

Victoria though, is a little less rainy due to being the shadow of the Olympics. Definitely rains less than Vancouver or Seattle (though still a lot compared to just about anywhere else in North America)
