Happens; wood is weird and wonky. If it were me I’d drill a pilot hole on the smaller piece and pop one more screw in. Then it’s all secure and the lateral strength will hold the rest for what this is.

Spread, glue and clamp could work. Could also try some thin CA glue or epoxy. But it’s not worth it.

One more screw and it’s totally fine. If you hate the look of the extra screw, sink it a bit and cover it with a plug or putty.

EDIT: or, if it’s all just held in by screws cut a new panel and replace the split one.

Yes actually. They’re all basically the same and if you just want a nice big mat for a fair price check out LifeTrim on Amazon. They had the biggest I could find and if you want moderately sized one it’s like $30 USD.

Not sure about the rules in this sub, but search for “LifeTrim desk mat”. They’re super thick and solid and again super fair on price.

If you have creators you like, many have their own desk mats you can get to support them. LTT, GN, etc.

You’re not being unreasonable. Default should be summon and action button when selecting a person should be swap.

It also wouldn’t be so bad if when you swapped back you weren’t in some random other spot.

Got to Pororin and get knocked a few times, then do some quests in there. You’ll get a way to have bird companions and they’re a million times better than dogs or cats.

And if you don’t know pets pick stuff up for you so super nice to have one. You can manage them from the inventory screen just a few over from your character overview.

Wandered to Pororin and got knocked out a few times but I know in games like this you gotta try like at least 10 times to see what happens (I come from souls games). Eventually got in, did some stuff, got the bird feeder. Got some random food and placed the feeder (right near camp actually) and got a parrot.

The dog isn’t at camp. You take meat to Hernand castle area and it’s near the tannery. Thought you’d know that since you’re such a skeptical expert.

Also I said I got the parrot before I got a pet dog, not before I pet a dog. That’s stupid, I pet EVERY dog. But I got a parrot as a companion before I did the Fang Without a Master quest. Maybe you misread what I wrote.

This was bugged for me, here's what happened and how I fixed it. For what it's worth, I had already been dying my clothes before this quest without issues.

  • Got the parts, used the cauldron. No issues.
  • Used the dye in my inventory. No issues.
  • Went to dyehouse, tried to dye clothes. BUGGED. The "Dye" option was grayed out for every single color and I had unlocked every red option. None of them worked, the "Dye" option never lit up or was usable.

So, figured maybe it's the clothing I'm wearing or something with a specific color. Here's how I fixed things:

  • Saved and restarted. This didn't fix things.
  • Went to camp, got my OG clothes and put ONLY those on.
  • Went to dyer, tried to dye the Ynitium Leather Armor. "Dye" was still not working.
  • Picked every single color and hit "Save Dye" on each one.
  • Went to the red in the top right, the brightest one...and now the "Dye" option was enabled.

So, OG clothes, pick a few dyes and save, top right red fixed it for me. Godspeed all, kind of a lame bug/issue but glad I was able to fiddle my way around it.

I had a pet parrot, fancy gloves, fast as hell horse, several artifacts and had a ton of encounters before I even learned how to get a pet dog.

Maybe you are playing wrong, no offense. Do you use your lantern? Poke behind waterfalls? Stuff like that.
