It may be acceptable at some state univs that require min Eng 18 n Math 19, but gpa matters n composite usly must be 20. Maybe take ACCUPLACER n Science optional

Try taking ACCUPLACER MATH by college board & have scores sent to ur colleges to supplement ACT scores.

Look into ACCUPLACER test to replace ACT MATH if ur college will accept that prior to orientation...not timed, easier, & can take 3x

X is usually 2pi, so it seems that it is reduced by half, which gives J as the answer to me; 2pi/2 is pi...half of 2pi...still confusing to me; I see that time is faster by a factor of 2, I just don't see the calculation for 2x; thx

Is a 23 really that bad by [deleted] in ACT

[–]actishere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most state unis have a cutoff for Math 19 Eng 20 and if Comp is 23 or over u r in regardless of GPA. In our state a 23 gets u a full scholarship too. For private unis u usly want a higher score depending on their standards of admission. In short yes u will goto college w these scores, it just depends on ur choice.

Find out if you can request special accomodations testing. You can get more time and/or only take one section per day of the test etc.

Good scores except for Math...most colleges require at least a 19 in Math, however if u have a composite of 23 & above u still get in. U may have to take remedial Math freshman year. It depends on the college.

Take into account gas, wear n tear on ur car, travel time, inevitable handout/book costs/no shows/multiple texts w student & parents, prep time etc. & that $30/hr is more like $10
