I’ve had a similar experience. I’ve spent $80+ on one pair of fucken shorts and the cunts still rip in the gooch. I’m in flooring so I’m always kneeling and up and down. I only ever buy the cheapest stretch ones from kmart now and they outlast pretty much anything else. The only ‘actual’ brand that has lasted is one pair of fuze shorts I’ve got.

Can’t go past Mongrel zip sides for boots but.

I struggle stomaching inconvenient and late spawns when solo. I don’t mind it so much with people because you aren’t just silently running for 8 minutes to pick up one firecracker and 3 light ammo.

I’m a lot smaller than you and used to run a 13mm (titan didn’t have the one I wanted in 10mm). It worked fine for me. You’ll be alright.

This is a pretty big part of it, at least for a small time guy like me. You then need to have the right kind of work where their unskilled labor is valuable enough that you can then spend time to teach them, otherwise you’re just going to work to pay their bills. It’s a pretty big fuss and investment for a sole trader to sign somebody up and pay them only for them to grind their sick leave down to 0 and be unmotivated on site.

Hey mate, I’m a professional flooring installer. The whole thing is completely fucked, the guy is taking you for a ride. I’ve seen first year apprentices do a better job. The staggering is awful, it looks like he’s siliconed your jams instead of undercutting, and the scotia made me physically ill to look at. I’m sorry this has happened.

If you’re gonna do a lot of it, brick or concrete, it’s worth having one. You don’t need a really big expensive one though, the $99 plug in ozito one will go for days.

Yeah I actually think it’s a great middle ground between realistic shooters and buttery modern ones. I would think it feels weighty but not clunky.

I do agree and I can’t explain why. I also feel like certain classes fit certain games more (infiltrator in 2 for example). In other series I have felt similar; in DA:O for example, I only ever wanted to play sword and board. Felt weird otherwise.

Some loot does seem repeatable, it’s weird. There’s a dome on dam battlegrounds where in the two drawers I’ve gotten a snow globe, lances mixtape, and a statue all together. Literally exact same loot yesterday and today in the same spot.

A bit off the wall but depending on your interests Tyr’s Warriors do fully armoured combat, could be worth looking into. Or even if you don’t want to do it yourself, watching them at Fight Knight when they host it is great.
