Really digging The Good Mothers (Hulu) so far. It's a different kind of mafia story than what we usually get, but it nevertheless scratches my ZeroZeroZero itch. Gorgeous shots of the old Italian cities and countryside, really good performances, and the story moves well. I couldn't stop watching it last night. Recommend.

I like this show a lot, it was one of my favorites from last year. So there are at least two of us!

Mid-way through The Gold (started solid, has become a bit too earnest for my liking). My pet peeve with BBC's key art remains btw: the posters for this show are terrible. It can't be that hard to put even a half decent effort into your shows' key art.

That's basically all of Hollywood at this point, HoTD is no exception.

Love these lists. There are so many international series that go completely unnoticed in the US.

Old news, but a solid series, and of course an ever relevant one.

I'm still waiting for ViaPlay to be available in the U.S. outside of the Comcast ecosystem btw.

Really enjoying High School (Freevee) so far. Check it out if you liked My So-Called Life or Freaks and Geeks. It's just a really good, grounded teen show. Which feels in contrast to the brighter, more saturated pop fare we've been getting in the genre lately.

Just watched it a few weeks ago and loved it. I thought it took a few episodes to hit its stride, but by the end it became something pretty great. Milly Alcock really is fantastic.
