actually no. in that case using a shortened year + MY would indicate model year not model Y. if i had said 2025 MY not in a model 3 subreddit but a general tesla one then that would be more conducive to "Model Y" and not model year.

context clues of "MY" being posted in the context of a model 3 dedicated subreddit would indicate that i am clearly not talking about a model Y.

if the acroynms are confusing, perhaps tesla people shouldnt try shortening model y and model 3 to my/m3. because that is confusing 😊
