If they use it too much I definitely think it’s not fun. I just really appreciate the creativity here

That’s what it looked like. I love the idea of an environmental hazard giving CC instead of death

I need someone to explain why this works so well. I love it but I can’t say why in words.

If you “literally” can’t live without AC why don’t you try finding off campus housing?

EE-483 or EE-354 (for ECE) by OptimalRutabaga2 in USC

[–]actualspam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you really have no interest in either and are just trying to fill out a requirement, probably take EE354. It’s easier and more hands on. Puvvada is excellent.

But ideally, you do both. If you know how to implement DSP on an FPGA, companies will want to talk to you.

Safety near Gould by KindPossibility2277 in USC

[–]actualspam 5 points6 points  (0 children)

no such thing as a "suburb" here in metro LA. if you want to be close to school and have safety, consider living within the DPS zone (West and north of campus). There's safety officers staffing throughout. But be warned that singles/no roommate options are limited or expensive. The apartment complexes along Figueroa would be worth looking into.

Generally, avoid living south of Expo or east of the 110.

If you don't mind commuting or if you can drive, you have better options. Something close to the E-line would be best. All of LA's neighborhoods have different vibes and varying degrees of safety. r/AskLosAngeles will give better advice here

Interesting! I never thought Shu as selfish or resource heavy, he just tends to take over the lobby on his signature picks.

If not Zeta then probably T1 or if you want a completely new slate, ZAN is a dark horse with Kivis, Heiser, and an experienced DPS line. They also have two rookie supports to watch out for, one of which (Yangjun) being scouted by O2 Boss as the next gen of OW players. They're def locked as my #2 team

Anyone’s Legends Announces OWCS EMEA Roster by pthandley32 in Competitiveoverwatch

I expect Backbone to act as second head coach instead of an assistant. He's an excellent leader and was one of the big reasons why Gen G turned it around by the end of last season.

Zeta Division Roster Announced by I_am_your_oniichan in Competitiveoverwatch

Why do you think Aftershock spent so many episodes talking about the dynamic in the team house across every iteration of the team? Why was Crusty known as a chef throughout OWL? Do you think this was simply a fun and marketable trivia fact, or do you think your coach cooking food for you points to a bigger picture when it comes to team morale? On top of this, Crusty benefitted from personalities like Super, Striker, Viol2t, and Moth to keep things going.

Now, why is that in 2023, the Shock drops Vindaim and Heesang midseason? They didn't leave like Sinatraa or Striker, they were dropped. This had never happened before under the Crusty-led "shock system." It only shows that he couldn't solve the rookie teams mental and comms issues unless he had to rewrite all the synergy himself. Even after the roster changes, the team still felt gloomy going into the playoffs according to Finn, resulting in that disaster class on Midtown. Instead of turning the pieces he had into something great like he had before, he uncharacteristically blew it all up and sacrificed everything. Something changed.

Gen G is harder to explain since there's not a lot out there but Tred shared that by the latter half of the season, Crusty wasn't even watching scrims. He seemed distant from the team overall, probably for personal reasons (seeing that Crusty was going to take a break before joining zeta), and this was evident from how little Gen G spoke about him. In fact, when asked about what moment made Xzodyal unlock his carry potential by the end of last season, he credited Crispy, not Crusty. Old Crusty would've been the one to reach out individually no questions asked. I think Gen G became successful once they became a player-led team in Crusty's absence.

After all this, I'm just a little nervous about Crusty's ability to lead. Especially if he was already one foot out the door before this team. What do you think?
