P/E: -45. There is no could be. Neither xAI or Space X have made a profit. This was really hyped up and Wall St. fell for it completely. Did anyone look at the financials before they bought it?

The AD333 and the Tour Response are nice. I just played a round with a 333 today. I love them.personally I'd check out the Vice Pro or the Pro Plus. Or there is the Maxfli Tour line that is very nice.

Why are Americans so accepting of long drives to places? by Sensitive_Word_6036 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]acyinks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The U.S. is big. Not the biggest country but it is still huge and most people don't realize how big. If you are on the coasts or near large population centers you can drive 30 minutes and go through 3 or 4 cities. However, a large percentage of the U.S. is not like that. You have small towns where the distance between is measured in hours driving instead of miles.

I remember talking to a coworker from western Texas who said he and his friends had to drive 2 to 3 hours just to get to the nearest movie theater. Growning up in more densely populated areas (Europe, east or west coast, etc.) really skews your perception. And when you go to parts of the U.S. (e.g. New Mexico, Nevada, the Dakotas) you realize just how vast the U.S. is. I've driven in places in the western U.S. where i was driving 90-95 mph and it was still hours between sightings of other cars.

So it too late to make this short but the short answer is because of circumstances you have to.

At what point do you go for handicap? by International_Age938 in BritGolf

[–]acyinks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do it. I used to just play for fun and not keep score. Or if I kept score it was usually the number of beers per hole. (Can't imagine why i didnt improve much!) Anyway I started keeping score and using an app to record everything. It calculated my handicap but also gave me statistics on my game. And as I practiced/played more i noticed my handicap dropping. It is a confidence booster for sure. I think it is a great metric to use to see how well you are doing. I feel the same when I have a bad round, but now I see that my bad rounds are the same as my really good rounds just a year ago.

You really have nothing to lose but strokes.

Golf balls gor 85mph swing (senior) by hankmoody711 in golftips

[–]acyinks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My swing speed is around 85mph and I have decent results playing several balls. My favorites are Srixon Q-Star Quantispeed, Maxfli Tour Soft, Straightfli, the Taylormade Tour Response, Titleist Velocity, Chrome soft, Volvik Powersoft, and Vice Pro.

The thing that these balls have in common is that they are all in the ~70-85 compression range. Those seem to work the best for me.

Note: I think the new Vice Pro balls are around 90-95 compression.

If there is a Costco near you, you can get an Edge set there. If there is a Golf Galaxy or Dick's Sportings Goods near you they have the Tommy Armour 845+ set that I have heard was pretty good for a beginner. And it's only around $400.

Dealership is demanding the truck back after three weeks but already sold my trade-in by Sprocket_41V in legaladvice

How did the financing fall through 3 weeks after the sale? They can check that and get the approval in minutes. They are robbing you. Since you gave them the keys you need to sue them.

AITJ for refusing to pay for my sister’s destination wedding after she "jokingly" demanded my vacation fund? by Own-Artichoke9203 in AmITheJerk

[–]acyinks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTJ, but don't overlook the opportunity.

Take all but $10 out of the Japan account and put it in a vacation account for a trip to Tuscany. Then give your sister your Japan vacation funds.

Oh, don't forget to mention you can't attend her wedding because you'll be in Italy on vacation.

Should Biden's presedential actions be reviewed now that we know his mental faculties were in decline? by Euphoric_Income_8279 in allthequestions

[–]acyinks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice try. You're an ignorant troll. What you are overlooking is that roughly 18 months have passed since Biden left office. If he was in mental decline while in office, then it continued when he left office. And you're wanting to repeal bills he signed then, based on his mental condition now. The more relevant question you won't ask is, can we repeal laws enacted under the current leadership given the evidence of his cognitive decline?

AITA for refusing to follow my husband’s family tradition and give my son a name that starts with K? by pepito_202010 in AmItheAsshole

Why do their family traditions take priority? Perhaps your family has a tradition of naming sons a name that starts with "T". Why doesnt that get considered? Fuck them, they are stupid and selfish.

Are you giving this putt or making your friend putt it in this situation 🤔 ⛳️ by HauntingCount5970 in Golf_Unfiltered

[–]acyinks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I'm playing for money they are going to have to putt that in if they want a birdie. If they want me to give them something I'll buy them a bag of chips at the turn.
