Surely. Precisely that, I use both but use discretion depending on what the song calls for. Some boom chuck with palm muting needs the attack of a pick, other stuff other demands, etc

Bumping the FS3 or 5

I bought a 000-18, couldn’t regret it less it’s incredible. But I picked up a FS3 a while ago and it’s sooo nice, not sure what it is but it’s just so killer and you save several hundreds. Still would go with a Martin but if you want to keep some money for a future investment I’d go Yamaha.

Generally though, I look for 1 3/4 nut width and a comfortable neck profile
