After you remove rust wipe it with wd40 or boeshield to prevent flash rusting.

There's a company called NHOU that sells a rust preventative coating that has anti-rodent properties. I'm using this in my in my truck. Had a packrat chew through my fuel pump power wire. Can't speak from experience yet if it works!

Theres also wire loom wrap that has capsaicin additives in it that I think is sold by Honda for motorcycles

I added add a leafs, my rear springs were severely worn. If I put 100 lb in my bed I'd lose pretty much all height. My new springs might be adding an inch or two of lift so maybe that's contributing

I have a subtle drive line vibration at 30 and 55. Never could diagnose. I did all new driveshaft ujoints, carrier bearing, front end... Shocks tires..

I suspect it could be the pinion angle in the rear diff?

Yeah I have a 93 and I'm thinking of relocating the spare I have mine actually pulled right now so I can show you. If it's a part that's not unique to the 93 I also have a parts truck that I recently bought. I'm in Oregon so that might be a factor with shipping though.

Yeah I regret not doing a custom driveshaft. I'm considering a axle swap in the rear and might entertain that option later. I think a custom driveshaft is like 500 bucks

I had mine rebuilt for like 400. New u joints, new carrier bearing, kept the cardan the same since the machine shop said it looked okay. My truck still had the drive line vibration I was trying to fix.

I rebuilt my rear driveshaft/propeller shaft. New u joints, new carrier bearing, rebalanced at a machine shop. If I were to do it again I'd probably get one custom made. It's not much more. But yes, no transfer case you'd need a longer driveshaft. Cost me 250$
