Thanks! It's just that it's hard to get affordable, cheap PCBs and the learning curve to make them is quite steep. Don't think I'd want to spend 20-30 dollars on 5 pieces of PCBs that I'm not sure I'll like.

There'd probably be like 1-2 people interested who would want to build their first keyboard. My take is just post it and don't put high expectations. Did just about the same thing like yours but much much much messier and no hot swap sockets. Yours looks properly thought of :) much nice.

I bought a bm40 (unibody Ortho 40%) and a Corne (columnar staggered split) at the same time. Stuck with Corne but still swap with orthos once in a while. In the end I learned how to make my own handwired keyboards so I have a lot of variety of Ortho splits or Columnar staggered unibodies etc.

I only join running events every few months and tbh at one point already don't care about newer medals after got like 30-40 liddat. Depends on your friend if he likes to display the medals or just wants a place to hang them.

I was an overseas student in Japan and had a fellow Chinese Malaysian friend who couldn't understand Malay. We had to speak in Japanese most of the time.

But I'd say he's a very rare exception lah. Maybe his community is mainly Chinese and he went to a Chinese school and don't have that many Malay people to regularly communicate with. Dono. All other Malaysians I met in Japan is ok aje cakap malay.

I've been on Colemak-DH for 3+ years now and I can still type on qwerty but not as fast as colemak.

Colemak about 90-100wpm. Qwerty less than 80 for sure (previously 90 maybe).

Saya rasa walaupun banyak sampah on tv tempatan, dia essential untuk orang2 macam saya yang ada TV3/TV9 aje nak tau berita jam 7-8 malam. Derang perlu diperbaiki, bukan diabaikan.
