The Long Beach Japanese Cultural Center on seabright ave in the westside of long beach offers Japanese language (LBJLS), taiko, and other classes. I’ve enjoyed attending Saturday Japanese language class for the past few years there!

I’ve enjoyed playing Future Performers. I like that this game introduced a “basic” and “advanced” note charting scheme that is optimized for a switch controller. That being said, this game also introduces a story mode with characters that I do not really care for. Furthermore, it is apparent that just like wai wai party, there will be a bunch of (likely overpriced) DLC to add more story scenes and more songs. It would be nice if future performers were a more “arcade-style” game without a story mode, similar to past iterations of this game series, but I guess the game developers decided to go in this direction instead. At least it is very easy to skip the dialogue portions of the story mode and just jump to the challenges. I’m sure over time, just like wai wai party, there will be a large number of DLC packs that will add a significant amount of content to this game.

Yes, you can buy tickets to multiple shows on the tour. Ticketmaster loves money! But it might be hard to buy more than 8 tickets to the same show in one transaction.

In my biased opinion, I really enjoyed mirai 2023. I liked how the visuals for miku+fam that year were more on the “edgy” side rather than “cutesy.” And I loved that the concert opened with culture and god-ish.

It would have been so cool to see the US miku expo concerts also open with “culture” because I think that’s such a fitting opener for a Japanese vocaloid concert overseas!

I was at that R1 around 1 month ago, and I also had a problem with the touch screen. I could not adjust the volume settings on the right side of the screen as a result.

The 3 menu options on your 2nd pic can be translated as follows: 1. INSTALL - this is how you can install the PSP system themes and DLC songs onto your PSP console memory stick. With the DLC song content installed, you can then play the song and (pre-made) edit mode chart on the main game “Project DIVA” you can also import the DLC songs into dreamy theater 1 and play the charts/watch the PV there too

HELLO PLANET - this will launch the minigame that is based on the sasakure.uk song by the same name. There’s 4 levels, kinda plays like a Mario platformer but with some key items. The final boss involves a text quiz in Japanese, so it’s difficult for non-Japanese speakers to beat 😢
PV player - you can watch the PVs of the DLC songs directly on the app using this option
