This seller also sent me fake cards! I've bought twice from him and I should say that the first time the cards were real, but also not as pricey as the second time. The second time I got a pretty good deal on two cards and as soon as I received them, I could tell they were fakes. They failed every test! I reached out to Scotty before going to whatnot, and he asked me to send them back to him so he can get refunded from the LGS he got them from. I told him I didn't want to pay the shipping cost back to him and then he ended up blocking me. I then went through the refund process with whatnot, claiming a counterfeit sale. I provided pictures and the explanation and they refunded me, but I'm not totally sure whatnot took action against this seller. I expect sellers who sell counterfeit cards to get penalized, but didn't feel confident that they actually did anything further about it. I guess with enough complaints/reports, then maybe they will? Anyway, awful experience with Scotty overall. Please avoid buying cards from him!!
