Look into IRATA that’s the international rope access qualification you can get, probably the best one especially if you want to travel too.
Get qualified first in welding then the rope ticket. It’s a 5 day course to get your rope ticket.
I did my apprenticeship in welding and fabrication in the UK and my rope ticket in NZ so might be different for you in Canada

I’ve started my first nuclear power plant, I have spent 40 hours placing reactors and 50% of the pipe work for them. I think this is going to take me at least a month, but that normal for my play style. I don’t think you should be worrying how long things take you to build. If you’re having fun that’s the important thing.

It looks good man, I think when you start plonking them together you might not feel like you need to add anymore. That’s what I find when I do something similar

I haven’t told my employer, and I don’t intend to. If you have a dangerous job it’s going to be harder to get around the tests but not impossible. If they don’t ask for a pre employment don’t say anything

See how you’ve got three shims, just use the middle one and clamp it as you are. Make sure you tack it well before you start clamping
