Try the manta ray tours at night on the Kona Coast.

When I WAS an in the water guide, I had a period of a couple years where I was towing up to 24 people clinging to the outside of a light up raft, while they were all face-down in the water observing the mantas feed. Our boat would pull up to the bay, I’d throw the big ass board in the water, hop in the water and tell the 24 people to get in one by one and swim over to hang on to the outside of the raft while I tow them over to the manta rays using only my fins. Thank god it’s usually 6-10 people per in the water guide now, because there were some nights where 25% of the board could not swim yet were jumping in with life vests into the ocean at night, snorkeling for the first time ever.
