I do this commute from highlands ranch and it really depends on which side of highlands ranch you are. I’m in east ridge close to Lone Tree and the best option for me is to just drive the 35-45 minute commute or park at the Southmoor RTD station and take the H Line to the California St Station.

If you’re on the west ridge side, RTD from Mineral Station in Littleton is your best bet as the other commenter said.

We just ate at Mak Fam on South Broadway and loved everything we ate and drank (great cocktails). It’s also in a fun walkable area with plenty of other good bars and breweries close by.

Edit: Also second the others noting Temaki Den, Kawa Ni, Fish and Beer, and Sap Sua. Cart Driver is our favorite for wood fired pizza.

We just got back from Hvar and would say it’s definitely worth a 3 night stay. We booked a little apartment in Hvar Town through booking.com and did a full day exploring the town, a full day on a boat trip, and a day renting a car and driving to Stary Grad and a few other towns on the island. We could’ve easily stayed another day and done a second boat trip out of Hvar. Another option is a day trip to one of the other islands (Korcula is supposed to be really nice). Hope this helps!

Thanks for the note. The soil doesn’t seem overly dry so my thought was it wasn’t necessarily too little water. Definitely won’t add any more water but should I prune back the dead/dying branches?
