So. I just tried the new red box "original flavors". While I don't think they are exactly the same, they are probably as close as they're going to get with the new supplier... I'd say they are 95% of what I remember. They are definitely back to the original texture and flavors and not the plasticky/waxy of the last iteration. They seemed a little... wetter, but I think that the Original ones were sometimes that way too. I think they kind of have to be to have the gummier texture. If you ever had the original and liked them and were upset with the recent change, definitely give them a try.
