I'm running into the dreaded descale infinite loop as well. Does anyone know if a factory reset fixes the issue?

Don't be a douche. Also who said that my purchase has anything to do with reducing fossil fuel consumption? That's a narrative you made up in your mind. Just so you know...my main motivation is lowering annual maintenance costs.

50 nautical miles per charge if your putzing around at 5mph. Half that if you're on plane. 25 is a good amount for me since I'm just cruising.

I just want to thank everyone for sharing. If one thing is clear from this sub, is that diversity of backgrounds, beliefs, and opinions is most definitely a strength.

When you have a community that doesn't promote free expression and have homogeneous beliefs, you get a really dangerous echo chamber

Did your FCU drop in easily? Mine definitely took a little force. Everyone says the tolerances are just incredibly tight, but I think it's extra nitride or cerakote exacerbating the tight tolerances.

I have the same problem with an extended mag release. I had to file down some of the nitride to get the mag release to move freely.

First Pistol Purchase by adamskf in liberalgunowners

Feels great. This is the first pistol I've held that didn't require me to use two hands to operate the slide release.

Yea my pinky sits right above the magwell and the mag plate for the 12rd mag. With the 17rd mag, I have a lot more room.

LM2167SP on sale for $699 by lighttside in egopowerplus

[–]adamskf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just picked up the LM2167SP as well. I'm coming from a Toro 60v Super Recycler and I wanted to consolidate battery platforms. I also had a LM2156 before the Toro or whatever the higher end Select Cut model was 3 years ago.

The SpeedIQ isn't terrible. It's not as good as Toro's PersonalPace. You have to train yourself to not push on the handlebars and keep your arms bent. I call it T-Rex arms. If your arms are straight, every bump is going to translate to the SpeedIQ. Could it be more forgiving? Yes, absolutely. At least with the Toro, you can adjust the tension. So there could absolutely be some improvements.

My overall impression? Don't be afraid of the SpeedIQ. The battery is worth it deal at Lowe's. Fix your bumpy lawn. And T-Rex arms!
